I can't watch youtubes at work - is this you doing a cover of the Roger Waters tune? (love that song)
Or something good/bad about hitchiking? I did 1000's of miles that way!

Mike, it is the Entire Album from Roger Waters 1984! Yesterday at work a co-worker had it playing in his truck and it brought back memories of "the good ole days" I was setting at the computer here at home listening to it and thought others might like it as well so I posted it!

When I hear anything off this album, it just makes me annoyed. I remember this album. This is where Roger Waters discovers that he’s not “Pink Floyd”, just really weird and not very rocking without Gilmour. :D

Although that didn’t stop him from trying to prohibit Gilmour and Mason from using the “Pink Floyd” name. To me, Roger Waters lost any air of sincerity when it became all about him and all about the money. It was enough already. We heard him whine about mommy on “The Wall” and a whole album of whining about daddy on “The Final Cut”. Seriously he should have just given Gilmour a chance to contribute. After all it's no big secret that "The Final Cut" has to be the most mediocre album "Pink Floyd" (in this case, solo Roger Waters) ever did.

When “Momentary Lapse of Reason” and “The Division Bell” were released, I don’t recall missing Roger Waters even a little bit. In contrast although many of songs from those two albums had a lot of radio play, I really can’t recall a single Waters solo effort, that can say the same.

Essentially I am rather satisfied that perhaps a small measure of justice prevailed, when Water’s arrogance broke up their group. Being a fan back then and literally being told to choose between either Roger Waters or David Gilmour, my choice was and still is Gilmour. Waters may have written many great songs in the past, but Gilmour owns the rocking part of any of them.

I'll check it out but with some trepidation. I've been a little queasy about Pink Floyd since there was an incident in a previous life where someone like me smoked some Panamanian weed and then was foolish enough to listen to Umma Gumma.

After about 15 minutes my pal turned it off when I tired to jump out the window to get away from it.

A Long Long time ago I met this girl, and I came up with the dumbest pick up line ever used in the total history of mankind.
"Hey girl if you just stick your thumb out,,, I promise you a wild ride"

That was 29 years ago. After 27 years of marriage, I don't think she would disagree.
She just keeps saying,"Thank God I saved the world".

She's probably right. :)

That's cool Glenny, I made it 24 in my first marriage so I know how bumpy
the road can be. When I was 17 I hitchhiked from VA. to Reno Nev.
in 5 days and that was a trip full of many stories. Danger, Sex,
Reflection and Growth. I became a man on that trip in the mid 70s.[/b]
