Played with a couple of bands this past weekend at a bike rally ... around 20k in attendance. Then hosted the Pro jam Friday night afterparty for all the monster headliner players ... great fun seeing and playing with old pals .. some I have'n't seen for years.

I played Main Stage at 5pm with a funk band (HogWash) that gets thrown together for festivals ... we had one rehearsal for this gig, for an hour set of originals.

Unlike all you guitar players that get to share the stage with other guitar players ... I don't have that happen to much .. so when it does it a lot of fun.

Darrly Havers (Brick House ) and I trading licks

Saturday I played Main Stage with John Lee Sanders at 8pm
John and I have played together several times. He had stage 4 throat cancer a year ago. Not only did he survive the cancer but he still has a golden voice. He's had the MD chair & sang with TOP, Long John Baldry to name a few and will be the opening act for Bonnie Raitt on her Canadian tour.

Saturday night afterparty was hosted by Brick House and the boys in Jerry Doucette's Band got up to play .. Wailin Al Walker is on guitar and Kenny Boychuk is on B3 ... Jerry was sitting on the side lines watching his boys
