cannibalism had/has nothing to do with the shortage of food

that's the problem, too many books with the "truth" a National Enquierer has, and then you get people that believe crap like Indians sitting around in circles gobbling up intestines with no clothes on.. exclusively females and children only too.. LMFAO..

...Indian Cannibals....the only instances of cannibalism that I know of in North America among the "Indians" are what are known a Windigos or Wendigos. Reference "Wendigo Psychosis". Watch the film "Ravenous". It has a good soundtrack. And yes cannibalism need not be due soley to hunger. The Dance of Wiindigookaanzhimowin is set to begin now.

Excellent request Dane in reference to "all the books". I think that we all know that cannibalism has and will always be resorted to in extreme cases of hunger by those who are desperate ... but not by all who are desperate.

And ...yes there are some who "eat of the flesh" simply because they are "driven" to. The British Royalty has long dined upon human flesh. There is not just one motivation for the consumption of human flesh. Without extreme hunger I find it simply depraved.

I myself certainly do not find an urge to eat those I encounter. In most cases this meat seems tainted to me. I "hope" that I will never need to make that choice although this time may be coming. It is one of those things that I will "cross that bridge when it comes". Blood drinking is somehow more appealing in this sense. Ta

It seems that several BM members have some homework to do in order to truly understand native American life pre-Columbus.

From anthropological studies:
Average life span=18 to 35 years, varied by region
Significant evidence of widespread malnutrition, iron deficiency, degenerative joint disease; trauma; dental health; stature; anemia; enamel hypoplasias; and skeletal infection, osteoporosis, TB, incest related physical deformities etc.

I am part native American (Blackfoot) and will gladly tolerate the banks and the nukes thanks. It was no picnic pre-Columbus. Enjoy:

Interesting subject... not a lot to find though.

The Anasazi
Here is a link to an article published in Discovery Magazine from 1998
http://discovermagazine.com/1998/feb/am ... nnibal1407

Montcalm and Wolfe (ISBN 0-306-80621-5) is the sixth volume in Francis Parkman's seven-volume history, France and England in North America, originally published in 1884. It tells the story of the French and Indian War. Its title refers to Louis-Joseph de Montcalm and James Wolfe, the commanding generals of the French and English forces respectively and to whom the book devotes particular attention. Parkman considered the book his masterpiece.

Where specifically you would find this passage... I don't have a clue but here you go.

"...He Presently saw a large number of them squatted about a fire, before which meat was roasting on sticks stuck in the ground; and approaching, he saw that it was the flesh of an Englishman, other parts of which were boiling in a kettle, while near by sat eight or ten of the prisoners, forced to see their comrade devoured. The horror stricken priest began to remonstrate, on which a young savage fiercely replied in broken French: "You have French taste, I have Indian. This is good meat for me."; and the feasters pressed him to share it."

There was a study done somewhere in the New Guinea. The tribes practiced Cannibalism, and were afflicted with prion disease... (Human version of Mad Cow and literally eats holes through the brain).. The cannibalism was not out of hunger, but out of revenge for the deaths cause by opposing tribes. Some also believed in the transitive property of spiritual powers. If you ate the other tribe's chief, for instance...You were said to gain his powers... etc.

Reminds of the legend where five tribesman and a woman went fishing in the nearby river... The men returned to the village with nothing, but the woman returned with a red snapper...

...Johnny 7 ... I thank you for your very informative Post. I have been unable to respond until now. I was very impressed and took the time to look at all your links. Very informative. I apologize for my lack of knowledge upon the subject and stand well corrected on my mistaken viewpoint.

Obviously some is speculation and educated guesswork ... as was readily admitted and I have never been able to bring myself to "believe" what ant Jesuit may say ... BUT all that aside I was wrong and you clearly presented a preponderance of very convincing material and you are also part Blackfoot ... So that is enough to convince me and illicit an apology. I am familiar with only the tribes around the Nebraska/Wyoming area... the Lakota, Souix, Pawnee and Crazy Horse and his lot. My Uncle married a Cherokee and she told me some things ... Trail of Tears etc. but nothing of cannibalism.

I know that the Iroquois Nation was once huge and that the Constitution of the United States borrowed quite heavily from it. I knew that the Mohawks and Hurons had a reputation for being very brutal but now thanks to you I know much more.

O course I knew of the Mayans and Azteca's but I was really only speaking of the Plains Indians where I grew up. The info you referenced was excellent regarding the skeletal studies. I know that for instance on the Pine Ridge Reservation not far fom where I grew up that the life expectancy has dropped dramatically and that suicides have risen sharply. Of course there is the usual alchohol and drug problems and all that they bring as well.

The "Mound Builders" references were also very fascinating. I knew of their great ancient cities but not all the details ... once again great links and I thank you.

I can understand how you feel but in spite of it all , I must take exception and disagree with you regarding toleration of the banks and nukes. This I find puzzling considering your excellent response to our "Indian Cannibal Prattle". I should have thought that something as ludicrous as toleration of being regularly robbed and used by the banks and treated like livestock by the political scum would illicit a strong and well based and effective reaction from you. After all we are not impacted on a daily basis by Indian Cannibalism but are by the banks and nukes. It seems more relevant. Also something as suicidal and anti to most spiritual belifs, the planet and your future ... dare I say "our" future, as nukes .... well ... it seems odd to me and a bit out of touch with reality. Of course you are fully entitled to believe whatever you desire.

Jahva ... Thank you for the link regarding the Anasazi and the Montcalm and Wolfe experiences. That is the kind of thing one expects in New Guinea. Very informative. I like very much the Hopi, Anasazi and the Dinah ... 4 corners and all the "Prophecy". I feel it i criminal what was and is being at this moment, done to them. I know when I lived in Brisbane Australia some of the Aboriginal women were missing fingers from cutting them of when their husbands died. They did this so they would always remember them. I do not think that they ate the fingers but now I wonder what happened to them ...seriously.

PaperDog ... that is very interesting regarding the Prion's. When I lived in S/F with my then Girlfrind, we had a roomate from France. She was a researcher and worked for the man who "discovered" prions. Apparently there is a tribe "somewhere" who actually eat their dead out of respect and this cased some problems due to the prions. I do know that one choice cut for those who do actually "partake of the flesh" is the flank of a young child. I have always found Red Snapper to be quite tasty. Ta

... KISS YOUR GUNS GOODBYE ...KISS WHAT IS LEFT OF YOUR FREEDOMS GOODBYE... IT is all nothing more than a hideous joke mixing movies with reality for the brainless public. And all a mere week and a half before the so called UN Treaty vote of ratification ??? Obama the "false President" ... the "Black Messiah" is delivering on his promise for "change". The River is flowing faster now. The Drones are in place, the TSA, Agenda 21, and on and on and on. The GP has and continues to be manipulated ... "thinking" or being told to "think" there is a difference between Democrat or Republican slime and filth when there is none. Obama ... Romney .. Ron Paul ... Rand Paul ... it matters not ... the Senate is composed of gutless greedy criminals and the Constitution has now been replaced by the "UN" and its hypocritical Humanitarian warmongering and murder.

They are coming for your guns now, not someone else's. Texas is the only state that may possibly have the balls to really resist....but even that remains to be seen. From this moment onwards the incidence of "false flag" events will only increase. The Second Amendment is now the target. Once it is taken down then there will be nothing to impede the "progress", the UN, the projects of the NWO...nothing.

How much more graphic and obvious must it become ? Soon "America, the Constitution and Freedom will be over ... finished ... Kaput...Fine. Ta

Very eloquently written. Very sad.

Instead of a great people uniting to break the boundaries of this one little tiny planet, we will only disintegrate into slavery and chaos and ultimately total death.

I surmise it always seems easier, to allow someone else to take care of you, that it is to care for yourself.
Maybe that is the real human flaw that is ingrained from birth.

Count on me to raise heck. If that happens kiss this page good bye. It will not be allowed.
