I collaborate lots, but I don't have much in the equipment department. I record into a Tascam DR-07 while I listen to the track on my i-pod.

The musician I work with usually mixes, or I beg folks I know to do that for me.

I would love to hear your track. I cannot pm you on bandmix, I'm one of those who does not pay.....

Tam it's posted now. Titled "Summertime song" I never finished working on it, because it just sounded like something a woman should sing. It's a decent recording of the music idea, needs some work there and some lyrics. I also quit on that aspect of it. The guitar melodies became the vocal in my head.

If you have access to a DAW there are collaboration sites like TwoTrack Music etc...

I hope I didn't offend you on posting my thoughts on yourself, if that came off as rude, I'm sorry, it is just an observation and I think you took that well, I suffer from serious bouts of honesty and observation, but please know that I didn't say "jerk", you did and I don't believe that is exactly what I meant to say.

I would like to share with you , a secret of my universe. I have discovered a way to encompass the aforementioned litany of thoughts... into one, single word. That word describes the entire spectrum of thought(and the domain of existence that houses thought...) from the beginning, to the end, full circle:
That word:

GOD

In fact, I which I could express an entire litany of thought into one or two words...How cool would that be?

I have to be honest, this first statement left the idea of the words you would choose would communicate your thought to others and that is what I responded to. I thought you wished to express something to others with only a few words. If that was true, then GOD would not exactly work due to the different perceptions, meanings and ideals that people all over the world have experienced, concocted, believe or derived from their own personal experiences, upbringing or education. So, I would logically argue with you that it would not be very effective, but with your latest statement, I am guessing that it is more of a personal mantra which is understandable........

I can appreciate that you may have come to a lifelong quest to believe that this will encompass all of the thoughts and beliefs that you are looking for, but it is a personal word and will only work for you, and that is okay, I'm happy you have something that can mean so much to you.
