Heres a picture of my 4 main battle axes, I use the Brown Lp most of the time and back it up with the Black LP, Hardly play the Strat anymore, maybe I should get it out, then the Lizard LP is a 1972 Gold Top, and I dont take it out of the house.

Ha!
It's that crappy popcorn spray. But carpet would be a nice touch for acoustics sound proofing. Though I don't know how would you get the vacuum up there.

JW,

Nice man. I use to have 79 Cherry sunburst Custom LP bought it brand new for 600.00 back in the day. I think today they cost about 3k. It's insane how much these habits can cost.
My Sheraton is an early 90's (korean) when they still had "Gibson" on the Headstock. Beautiful neck... comparable to the real Gibsons. I've always liked Epiphones especially the Acoustics they may be cheap but you can find plenty of quality built older guitars made by them.

Jahva for a while there I wanted a Gibson 335, and couldnt find one in my price range, I know I have some nice guitars, but I didnt pay over $1000 for any of them. Anyway I was jonsing for a 335 and a buddy of mine said have you ever played a Sheraton, I said no, so I checked it out and wound up buying it, I think I gave 350 for mine.

Ive never bought a new guitar, and hardly any new amps, they all depreciate too much, the LP Classics I like are priced at GC for $2199.

I use to have a Blonde Squire strat from 91. Back then they were made in Japan. But really nice for the price. I think they were around 300 new i got it used for around 200. Wound up trading it for an Ovation acoustic electric.

Yes

I paid out the ass for that Gibson.

Was kind of a funny story how I eased my wife into the deal too ...

The PUPs in that ES 339 freaking scream. And the neck feels like it was custom made just for me.

Sometimes an instrument just calls out to me ... and I am her slave. 8)

Seem to have the same problem with firearms too.

This is a rather old picture - the little Casio and old Korg mono synth are long gone - but not the guitars (72 tele and 73 Epi).

Mike, Nice pic, I love when someone shows their love of all stringed instruments, would love to hear all of those sounds!

Everyone is calling their guitars "SHE", is that a choice or a well known fact of guitar gender? :)

Great guitar pics everyone!

Acoustics have a ... erm .... hole, so I guess they are definitely female.

Yes, that's an antique no-name banjolin. Since the picture I put a new (banjo) head on it and some mando strings. The sound is not all that different than a mandolin.

Guess I need to update my 'stringed instrument' picture - I want to do one of those 'guitars in a big clock-like circle' pics, but don't really want to put everything down on the lawn (only place I have big enough).

OH no, no, no.....

I shouldn't have asked that question.....LOL!!

And here I was...thinking that someone would say something like their guitars are "beautiful" and "sweet"....

oh my......LOL!!!!
