The one issue I notice is site traffic. I've been watching the forums for a couple of months now, I see a post or two a night for a week or so then it drops off to almost nothing for a couple of weeks, then a few more posts...For instance the past 3 weeks the site has been almost dead, now I've been seeing some new posts and replies the past week or so.

With overall site traffic pretty slow, it wouldn't be advantageous to the site owners to add a boatload of new sub forums, when the forums aren't getting that much attention. I would agree with the earlier comment that maybe regional sub forums would be preferable, that might not be more than 4 or 5 new areas to set up, and wouldn't be difficult to navigate.

Bottom line though, the site administrators need to see enough overall forum participation to merit the additional work involved in adding sub forums.

Remove the spaces, add www, I'm sure you can figure it out...

Google for "Musicians wanted" or "musicians classified ads" and you'll get a bunch of links to check out.

This site's sole purpose is to not to be an effective outlet for musicians and bands, but to wrench money from musician's pockets. You can find the same bands and musicians on other websites that cater to a local community and are not constantly urging for a monetary upgrade in order to actually contact a band or musician.

I'm starting to see that because when I went to check out who in my area is comparable to my needs, I'm informed that I could get that info if I upgraded my membership! GET REAL... There are a plethora of sites that'll do that for free! Gee... thanx guys, I guess Bandmix, "connecting musicians" should add "for a nominal fee"
