Oh, I doubt you were wrongly accused, judging from your posts here!

Dating site for you? Tried Googling something similar to girls with peckers.com? Maybe you can find Adam there if you find such a site. :)

OK, REALLY? You guys are getting really annoying? Why? Because you guys just spit out whatever without backing up your suggestion with experience. I am ALWAYS wasting time standing up to a bunch of trolls, and jokesters, rather than reaching individuals who show themselves to be intelligent, patient, understanding, and likeable individuals.

And another thing I'm annoyed with are people who think that search engines like Google and Yahoo are the answer to everything. What about things that are NOT easily found by Googling? Things that are spread through word of mouth to find, or things that are hidden on another site to find?

I am so sick of running into Mr. Know It Alls on sites like Bandmix, Craigslist AND Baton Rouge Rocks, along with trolls, and jokesters.

I want to reach the opposite. People who I can talk about more of my favorite music with, share ideas, talk about our experiences in our search for music buddies, and thus eventually learn about something new I might be overlooking.

CLiff go back and read your post, the proof is in the pudding dude, but then you dont have a clue do you?

Lots of us gave you advice, what we thought would work for you, but then you tell us why it wont work, so I guess there really is no hope for you, its not because of any of us, its because you have that word, what is it, oh yeah CANT in your vocabulary.

I dont think you have a chance at anything til you get that out of your system and start doing whatever it takes to get what you want, but oh yeah you cant because of blah blah blah.

If people on here irritate you so much, then why do you keep coming back, you dont add anything here, other than entertainment to old farts like me, but it gets old reading.

Again, there you go, JUDGING me. When I use the word "can't" it is NOT an excuse. The people who are giving the advice are individuals who already have a career playing music, rather than those like me who don't have very many music buddies to play with.

It wouldn't be so irritating if these OLD farts would LEARN to leave well enough alone and give the guys in their 20s and those who like pop and soft rock music and who are amateur and intermediate level players a chacne to respond.

If thats judging you then so be it, we all started somewhere along the way and figured it out, ok whether you can or cant isnt the issue, its whether you are truelly willing to do what it takes, without asking for other to hold your hand.

Im not a pro player, Im what you would call a semi-pro, I have two kids, a couple of business's, an ex wife, a current wife, if I can figure out how to get out and play music from time to time, then I see no reason why you cant figure it out also.

"its whether you are truelly willing to do what it takes, without asking for other to hold your hand."

I'm not asking for others to hold my hand. However, I am trying to prevent from setting myself up for disappointment, and getting involved at places that might be dangerous. I am trying to those who simply play music as a hobby, NOT those who play music as their JOB!

Every single place I've tried online or in person, I end up reaching someone who is WAY too serious about playing music rather than someone who works in retail part-time, and just plays for fun.

I am also trying to avoid recieivng advice from guys like you who have too many responsibilities, like a full time job, girlfriend/wives, and who have a bunch of other emotional baggage on them, like drugs, drinking, ex-wives/ex-girlfriends, abusive fathers, and the like.

If you are afraid of danger and dissapointment, then music aint your game young man.

I was slammed right and left for my music when I was your age, and I still get slammed 30 years later, you better grow some thick skin is all I can say.

I have thick enough skin, but you need to realize that I'm not trying to reach those who are pursuing a career in music or have tons of experience playing in bands.

I'm trying to reach those guys like myself who are still learning, and thus like me, are not active members of the local Baton Rouge music community. In other words, guys who have a simple starter job in retail or at a fast food resturaunt, and are simply going to college.

The advice on ANY site thus far has come from people who are thinking a bit too professional about things, and come from individuals who are active musicians in the music community, whether it's on a local site like Baton Rouge Rocks or the local section of Craigslst, or international sites likes Bandmix.

Funny gifs.

That last one is exaggerated though. I am frustrated, but I have a thick enough skin to handle most situations. If you've ever watched Two and A Half Men, I'm kind of like Alan Harper, in how he's a careful and get nervous about trying something new.

Cliff you should record some demos of the songs you have down and post them.

Im probably the odd man out here, but I love some of Madonna's older stuff. I think Adam Lambert has a huge voice, I just think like Gene Simmons that he shouldnt have shared with the world he was gay.

I saw where Adam was singing with Queen on some European dates, he does a pretty good job with them.
