All right guys, I finally was able to upload a little snippet of a video from our gig sat night.
Capt, its Highway to Hell which you have asked me to play some AC/DC so you can hear our singer, so this was for you.
A little back ground.
This is a big Moose Lodge building, it was a couple of peoples birthdays, and they hired us and secured the room.
We set up different in here. Its one of those little bitty stages and our drummer was always hitting his arms on the back wall, so we just set him up front and then we work all around him.
You will notice how our audience is, they just get on stage, dance sing and cut up with this, I think the video will speak to that, so this is a video from behind me, and you can see what I ussually see when we play, I think someone one time asked for pictures or videos from behind, so here it is. Watching this you can understand how hard it is to get a video of our band because out front there is always a mosh pit of people, so you couldnt even see us.
Ussually our first set is kinda calm, people getting warmed up. We dug deep into our song list, we played Train Kept a Rollin, which we do play from time to time, but not that often, then we even did Rocky Mountain Way, which I wish I had video of, because when it comes to the guitar solo section I turned it over to our bassist and drummer and just comped along, our bassist was using his synth pedal and did some crazy stuff on the bass, and our drummer just went off, and then we morphed into Rush, Working Man, which I cant remember us ever playing it just happened.
Damages, well at one point some gal knocked over a light tree, we just kept playing, our old soundman happened to be there and set it back up, we only blew one bubl from that. My singer kept hitting the end of my mic stand and bumping me in the face with it. People were falling all over the dance floor, when the gig was over and they turned on the house lights, the table next to where my wife and racing buddies we sitting was covered in puke, they said some gal just chunked it all over the place then passed out on the floor, so all in all it was just another classic gig, complete with dancers on stage.
SO check it out! This is Aint Yo Mama LIVE!
