Lynard Dylan wrote:I enjoyed the banter, your right about this
board being kinda of quiet. I haven't been
able to pull as many musical tidbits of advice
off this forum lately. It seems more about religion
and politics than music, and the christian are
so quick to judge.

I believe the use of drugs has been closely related
to music since the beginning of time. Yod will know
he thinks he's a walking library, rockstar, savior all
roled into one, good for him.
I'd try the use of drugs it will surely attract some
players, who just want to have a good time. Seriously,
I know a couple of drum players that'll be able to make
it.

Good Luck

Lynard. You are without a doubt the biggest pole-smoker this side of the atlantic... Lambert's calling out for you... Why don't you two get a room and drop some acid together, then you girls can pretend to be in a pillow fight to the death... LOL!

Losers!

The name is Clifford, and I am NOT calling out for some old guy in his fifites. I'm trying to reach GUYS in their 20s who are much smarter individuals on the internet, and know how to deal with some simple missunderstandings and who are not easily angered like you guys are.

I mean, really. Look at how mean you were to Lynard.

And by the way, the name is Clifford, not Lambert. And I don't do ANY recreational drugs. Two of my favorite artists were lost to drug addictions. Michael Jackson in June 2009 and Whitney Houston in Feb 2012.

Well then Clifford, it looks like you just broke Lynard's heart (WHose real name btw is Lynn) . He's been trolling these forums for quite a while , in search of a young boy , who likes conversations, enjoys music, (Lynn has been dying to tickle somebody with his antiquated Grateful Dead guitar solo, which he swears he wrote) ) I forgot to mention, Lynard likes to put the lotion on himself...

TROLLING in any form is WRONG! And what you are doing Paperdog is also wrong as well. It's not cute! I am not interested in Lynard, because of his music tastes, and his motives, and his age.

No sob story is going to persuade me to change my mind.

HA hA hA Okay Clifford You Win... But you forgot to mention that Lynard was also UGLY....

I don't stoop to your level, so I didn't leave it out. I don't mind having a friendship with someone closer to my dad's age, but it's a different kind of friendship, think more mentor, like if I were to "hang out" with Billy Joel or Elton John or Madonna, compared to hanging out with Adam Lambert, David Cook, or Kelly Clarkson. And I wouldn't mind forming a networking circle with a couple of people who like different styles of music in order to meet some who do like more of the music I enjoy.

Lambert, one reason you have no friends at any age.. is because you grossly lack a sense of humor. You cant even recognize what a tool you have been in the last few posts... because you do not know how to laugh... Now, I'm done with you and have no further need for your presence on the forum ... :P Please go away...and take that slug Lynard with you.. Buh Bye!!

Sir, there are different types of humor, and the kind you guys were using is NOT something to laugh about. Also I wait until I'm good friends with the person BEFORE I start making jokes the way you were. Usually, I stick to wordplay, and double entendre type jokes.

And there are times to be funny, and there times to be serious. That was not one of those times to be funny.

No matter how rude you guys are to me, I still wish you both GOOD luck in both your music and non-music endeavors.

Listen. Some of the people are trolling your post. But others are offering critiques, in their own way. What I am noticing is that you have too much criteria, IMO. You are becoming your own worst enemy, by limiting what you are looking for to such an extreme that you will be very lucky to even find one person who fits it. If you are looking for your musical soulmate, cool. Keep your high standards. Just understand that it may take months or years to meet someone who fills all your specifications. If you meet them at all. That's my two cents. Take it easy.

There's a newer topic you can respond to. It's called "I'm trying this site again" that is not full of so many pages. And there's a couple of questions there related to some advice given that needs some answers.

And by the way, there's a REASON for the personal preferrences, so ask questions to try to understand the purpose behind them.

But please, let this particular topic get lost in the archives. It has WAY too many pages, and way too many people trolled this topic.
