Glen,

I tried to send that file but Yehaw scanned it for 15 hours and never did send it. :) So much for free email service. I need to find a provider that does not limit file size.

I did send a single to you a while ago and it seems as if it passed through ok. But you never know with Yehaw.

Hi Slacker,

How big is the file? you may be able to compress it (.zip) to minimize transfer size.

Also, yousendit.com (trial) can be used to send large files.

Thanks band mates! I will try all suggestions. This is definitely a helpful forum. :)

I will try all suggestions. As is I only have Yehaw and Gmail. Both not very big file friendly.

If its a music file, you could just upload it here and toggle the option for users to download it from your profile (And let Glen know when its ready) .

Doesn't matter. Us freeloaders are still able to upload some music for free.

Slacker my friend. Thanks for sending that to me. I listened to it more than a few times. It is great to hear your vocals. I enjoyed that tremendously.

I completely understand where you are coming from and I wouldn't take down any of your music up here.

All this IT stuff can become a bit frustrating unless you spend the bucks. Even worse is that it keeps changing so fast that it can make you go broke for the latest greatest.

Just a thought, try McJams or some other place that allows large uploads.

Any way with all do respect, Thank you for sharing as much as you have.

You go Slacker!!!!!

I thought about that...Maybe the subscription just increases the limit or something...

Glen, happy that you enjoyed it. As usual, it is all about the guitar. :)

Ok.

I guess I wasn't that clear. The deal is that Yehaw is needed to send the mail, as well as Google... the only accounts that I have. Google limits a file to 25 megs. Evidently Yehaw doesn't understand a file over 25 megs.

So the reason I can't send it is that I can't get it uploaded because Firefox doesn't have a upload program built in, at least one that I can find. Can't use Microsoft's E mail client in Firefox.

However I am going to copy this page in case I can't find somewhere to up load. (I also saved the page where some of you were so nice as to give my picking honorable mention. I need that for after I get done listening to someone like Danny Gatton, Tommy E, Eric J, Chet Atkins, Steve V or a multitude of others that make me feel so grossly inadequate.

And computers were supposed to make life easier? :?

yousendit.com is another great way to share large files - you have to register and they try to get you to subscribe to avoid the ads, but you can use it for free.
