you can sell anything on the net,
what you are asking is, "how do I advertise on the net?"

"Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half."

Good Luck Daniel.

There are as many ways as you can think of,
and it's obvious your thinking.

Daniel,

You need a target audience and music that satisfies them.
If you go to my website www.tarkhem.com
you'll see at the bottom a counter for the past month, I've had 940 people visit my site in a month, half of them had no problem spending a $1 or $2-3-4-5 for downloads.

The web allows us to reach the world and millions of people . . . take advantage of this.

Yes, but don't expect to make a living from it! Advertising/promotion - playing out in front of people - is how you need to get your name out there. Since you're already know about tunecore, then you are aware of the ways that your msuic can be sold (there are many places that offer similar services. I have the songs from my firs CD available on AMazon for download through their affiliate CreateSpace).

Got any Facebook friends? Send them a link to your music and ask them if they like it and is it worth $1 to buy it. If your stuff is any good, friends will tell friends.

Not to dis count any of the advice already given here, But I really believ there is only one successful way to do it, but it requires the following 3 criteria to be achieved.

1) Gotta have sellable music with mass appeal
2_ Get a professional promoter...The investment is priceless if you got the goods to push.
3) This one, a lot folks might overlook: Be ready (full band and act) to perform what you sell on a moments notice, anywhere, any time (See the promoter for schedules)
