Thats a Mesa Roadster behind me I used for a while, I got rid of it, traded for my daughters keys.

jw123 wrote:JCP that Glod Top is an interesting guitar, long story to it.
I dont take it out any these days, its a 1972 model, it had humbuckers in it, someone routed it out, then a guy redid it and I got a hold of it, actually I sold it to the guy with the humbuckers and then saw what he had done to it, and bought it back and didnt even know it was the same guitar, kinda twisted.
I have an OLD SUNN MODEL T head, hook that guitar thru a tube screamer and it just kills tones like Miss Queen, or AC/DC rythyms, but those P-90s are so noisy that when I plug thru my Mesa it just gets to noisy for my taste, so I just leave it at home. Its real heavy weight wise compared to my others.

thats a 91
first Ibby i bought,
It sold me forever on the ibanez.
No cons as far as I;m concerned but your a les paul guy so you might not take to it. longer neck scale, floating trem and all.
but you never know, it might make a convert out of you!
when choices had to be made I ended up selling off a 75' black flying V
62' reissue strat and a 88' white American made strat.
but I kept my ibanez
the jem 77 still get as much play as the newer ones.

Ive just kinda wanted a shredder guitar just to have, dont know if it will convert me or not, I thought about getting my Strat hot rodded with a Floyd Rose and a humbucker but decided I didnt want to have it routed out any, so I kinda stopped, But those Vai models look good to me, I like the Sach models also. I will admit that the Ibanez necks are way faster and easier to play than my LPs, I guess since Page has always been my idol thats just where I lean toward.
Someone mentioned that on this thread that most of us favor whatever our favs used, and I guess that applys to me.
I actually played strats for a long time, but that was mainly cause I couldnt afford a paul.
Someone also mentioned Cort guitars, I have an acoustic Cort that is a great guitar, I dont have any pictures of my other guitars but at last count Im up to 17. Im a pack rat when it comes to music, but Ive been sticking stuff back for close to 35 years now. Ive got a big box of old effects pedals, I should get all of those out and see what I have.
jw123 wrote:JCP that Goldtop, your Ratt pedal and that twin would be an awesome combo for sure.
I had a Fender Concert back in the day, that was an awesome amp, wish I had kept that one, I had a JCM 800 combo one time that I wish I had kept.
