It was a great game, and damn Madonna still looks good to me!

My house enjoyed the whole deal from start to finish, I liked Miranda Lambert and Blake Sheltons version of America the Beautiful the best, and Im not even a country fan, man I must be getting old!

You must not like sexy girls, or great light shows, or massive entertainment, or superstars.

You want to put some British band on an American Superbowl and not a good ol all American Woman who can sing.

Problem was, she wasn't singing.

I give Madonna all the credit in the world for her career. And she has the pipes, so we know she can sing. So, she sort of gets a pass for piping in the music and lip-syncing to her own stuff.

But that said, the Superbowl is the biggest event in North America. Light shows or not, sexy girls or not, I'd like to see an actual "performance". I thought Michael Smith said it best in one of his tweets: "Bring back Prince".

That said, Madonna was better than some of the recent debacles (Black Eyed Peas, I'm looking at you, and same goes for The Who), but the halftime show could be so much better.

It seems clear to me that what the NFL really wants in that spot is a 'spectacle' and not so much a performance.

Myself - I'd like to see someone a bit more relevant. They keep going with the old geezers. Sure, Madonna looked great, but for sheer relevance they should have gone with Lady Ga Ga instead.

Myself, I'd like to see the Foo Fighters. I don't think Rush will ever do it (and hell, we need to get them inducted into the Hall of Fame first, for crying out loud). When I watch YouTube footage of the Foo Fighters shows, I just think - that's a band that could (and should) command a Superbowl audience...

Well I didn't see the 1/2 time show but, but I thought that was one of the best football games I've seen in a long while.
I don't believe I have seen a touchdown play done quite that way before.
