We could save a lot of money on the military by surrendering to the Chinese or the Russians right now. They would kill off all the useless eaters and "fix" our eductional system too.

This is what I am saying. The slaves were probably freed to weaken the South's ability to manufacture supplies. The slaves were their work force. Without supplies they lost the war.

Now do I believe that Abraham was being humane, and actually CARED about the slaves? ... yes. I think he did.

Now Mr Johnmc, it's like I told that gal on
