The guy was 76 years old. It makes me wonder if he had an illness that was causing him much suffering? I grew up watching Soultrain the last time I watched it was around 2008. I really enjoyed watching it

The worst thing about getting old (other than it sucks generally) is that you are face to face with the fact that you've probably peaked.

That doesn't have to be true, by the way. But it would be something of blow to really hit it and then die of old age shortly thereafter. Although they say Grandma Moses could really wail. Spent all her dough on boy toys and hashish - never did die. Frozen actually...

Never was a big fan of his, but made me sad to hear.
I know a Deputy Sheriff and he told me about having to go to a call where someone blew their brains out with a shotgun. His advice was don't do it inside the house ........................ actually it makes a mess behind the barn too.
My hearts not so good so I don't think I'll need to worry about suicide lol

Just an observation. When someone commits suicide, it isn't a whim. There is something deeply painful brewing inside DC for quite some time. Too bad he couldn't find the help that he needed.

I believe when someone commits suicide,
they go directly to hell.
