Hates them, we do, my precious!

I get no news, here...& yet I seem to know EXACTLY what's going on: more of the same.

Rise up! Go to D.C. & toss 'em all out on their collective behinds! (IF you can get past their security, that is.)

How is it that ELECTED officials have more security in their jobs than I do? I actually WORK for a living, & yet my position is far more risky than theirs ever was.

I'd vote for anyone that punished every company that forces its work force to work for too little, & keeps more than 10% of their work force in a part-time status, &/or any co that ships American jobs overseas.

I'm ready to go to the third world. folks. I hear there are jobs there!

I'm about ready to say "SCREW AMERICA," cuz America is surely screwing me. I can't believe that I pay taxes to pay for these bastids to make my life worser & worser, while theirs gets better & better.

I like Ron Paul, but I dont think he can get elected, but the one good side of his performance, if he continues to get the support he gets, then the Republican Party will need his influence if it has any chance at Obama, he has gotten stronger and more people that are fed up with stuff are going his way, so maybe in order to get his blessings some of the Replublicans will have to go along with him to some extent.

The crazy thing to me is that if Ron Pauls platform was put into place tomorrow, he would hurt all of us in so many ways, especially the disenchanted people that are attracted to him...

He is making more and more of an impact on the election.

I think you could be right in this, but one thing really holds him back.
he never say anything specific or practical, I think if he could articulate his plan for governing he might have a chance to influence things.
when given the chance he just gets more and more vague.
I mean, I think everyone knows we are broke.
you can shout all you want from the back seat that; "we are out of gas"
eventually you have to make a plan to get out of the car and go get some.

You guys will probably disagree staunchly with me ...But I submit that our democracy (vote) process got tossed in the toilet right after Reagan left...

1) Have you noticed any poor people getting into office lately?
2) Have you noticed any poor people making it to senate or house seats?
3) Have you noticed any representation at all for anything middle class (besides the never ending tax issues, which now bleed into the wealthy folks who disagree with the elites in DC)?

Obama's SUA: "Send me the bill that prosecutes insider Washington trading...and I'll sign it" Now, what Congressman would ever be that retarded to derail such a gravy-train...? And you gotta know that Obama knew that... as the words left his mouth...

Anybody who actually believes we have a fair voting system, well just be warned that Washington wants to perpetuate that belief system.

Well, Bob, if you watch the debates then you are a lot more informed than if you hadn't. If you don't vote- you don't matter. If you don't watch the debates, which also give you a clue on how any of these guys would act in international relations or on the hill with a house full of hostiles. If you don't take the time- don't bitch. There are things I'd rather do than watch these guys, but hey, so far, after watching the debates, the only one I haven't found great fault in is Santorum, with Gingrich a close second. The others fall off the cliff sharply in a sentence or two when asked the questions they have answered you say they haven't.

I call bullshit on that. Voting hasn't done one damn thing for this country in decades. Both parties continue robbing us blind and dismantling our republic and it don't matter at all which figure head you vote for.

But I do make it a point to vote when ANYONE other than those democrat and republican scum comes around. Ross Perot, Buchanan, Ron Paul.

But as to Bush / Kerry? Huh? Two sides of a pathetic coin. Clinton and the Bushes are big buddies - laughing as they hid behind bodyguards paid for by the same saps they are plundering. The Obamas talk sh*t while they vacation all over the world on my dime. How I detest both parties...

Yeah, lets all go vote and watch some nice debates....

If you want change, change the Federal Reserve, and Congress. You can't vote them OUT of office you know....

These presidents were, and always will be a lackey for industry.

This country runs on Money, it isn't free, and neither is freedom. If you don't pay in cash for your freedom, you better be ready to bleed for it.

You don't get something for nothing no matter what country you are in.

If you want change, focus on changing something that will matter. Not whether the person you think is the prettiest is going to send ideas to congress.

WE SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON CONGRESS AND THE FEDERAL RESERVE!!

Presidents are showman, some of the best entertainers in the world. That is it.

Laws they sanction are cut to pieces and never end up being passed through congress the way they went in.... pigears... etc....

To be honest, when I vote, I hope it isn't all just a big show, and that the tally's don't mean squat, all that matters which candidate for president will abide by corporate business' profits.

It wouldn't surprise me.

It is all BS. Don't vote, Vote. It makes no difference. Money talks, sorry, Americans are no different from the rest of the world.

Hmmm Sorry Crunch.. I cant abide... A couple of things:

1) TV News = LIARS, Yellow Journalism, Opinion Makers, PAC for their candidate.
2) Santorum... At first, I felt really bad for him, when he spent 10 minutse on Fox news describing the current condition of his baby daughter... (And I pray for her recovery)... but it then occurred to me, ...he spent 10 minutes on Public national TV going on about this private affair. When I thought more about it... it hit me like a ton of bricks.... His daughter had already got out of the wood, and was fully recovered a day or two earlier...and NOW he embellishes a story... It's the old "Gain sympathy from the Fox News audiences" trick - More votes cause he touched hearts...

You see Crunchy, NOTHING is above board with ANY and ALL of these candidates... They are professional con artists of the highest order...They want to be president cause of the Power...Not because they really give a crap about the country.. In fact no person in their right mind will "tell" you he gives a Crap about the country,... Instead he'll tell you the country is messed up (and wont tell you its messing him up)

I'mn telling you all... The picks today are absolute bottom of the barrel...

the truth is it's really not BS

voting is everything.

some facts..........

the real issue with slavery is that black people counted as population but could not vote., giving slave states more reps in the house of representatives, thus controlling our way of life for almost the life of our country.
we killed off 1% off the population in an attempt to change this voting imbalance.

untold millions are spent every cycle on propaganda tying to tell people how to vote or to convince them voting doesn't matter.
so some very rich people think voting matters quite a bit.

only about 50% of eligible voters actually vote in the presidential election, less in the off years.
60% of them vote as they have always voted.
they always say they want change, yet they never change their vote.

my conclusion after being a politically active non governmental union member for 30 + years.

do not vote for your friends, vote for your enemies, it keeps your friends honest.

If the choice is between Obama and
Romney, or I mean Dem vs Rep than
your vote doesn't count.

JCP I think your dead wrong on the
slavery issue (it was about money),
but that's a whole other forum. Some
good music came out of it though. 8)

I get what you guys are saying about corruption and the Bush's and Clintons. That was our choices in those times. There are factors that are coming to a head on many issues today. Many of us may wonder what has happened to Social Security? Why should many of us that are becoming of retirement age not expect to get it. Truth is, so many unborn children have been aborted since Roe v. Wade. There is a lost generation not supporting. Repeal Roe v. Wade? Support Israel if they are attacked, or make a pre-emptive strike? Close the Straight of Hormuse? Which will make Russia and other countries such as Japan angry because 80% of their oil comes from there. These candidates all have different Ideas about all of these issues. You can stick your head in the sand and not be aware of what these candidates intend to do, or you can pay attention and choose the candidate that best represents you. I believe many blacks that have voted Obama into office are now disenfranchised. People are no better off now than if no one was president during this administration. The goal has been met, a black man can hold office of the president. Now, let's get down to business and choose The Best Man For The Job! The man you choose to represent you (or not) speaks volumes about who you are. If you don't choose, you don't have a voice represented and therefor should not bitch. If you don't get informed- don't vote. Ron Pual is energetic, even at his age. I believe he intends to cut our country's costs- and military- at what cost, with no military. Obama cut funding of the Raptor. Expensive, yes. Does it replace ground troops, yes. Intimidating to our enemies, yes. When your son or daughter or grandson or daughter is on the ground overseas, then you will wish you had voted for your future and theirs. Go ahead, let Ron Pual cut our military and stand down against the tyranny of Iran (they never bothered anyone, had they?). We will get attacked on U.S. soil again. Would you vote for Woodrow Wilson in this climate? Take Ron Pual and Mitt Romney and put them together and what do you have another Mormon passivist with his head in the sand. Think this election isn't important? Do us all a favor and don't vote!

Dr. Paul is no passivist. in fact - he is the only one of that pack of swine who actually served in the military.

He is not however, in favor of all the wars the govt creeps keep foisting on the world. He believes, as I believe. In self defense.

In keeping with the intent of the founders he actually proposed issuing letters of Marque on Bin Laden. (think of the privateers of old). He supported knocking out Al Queda in Aphganistan - not the silly nonsense of 'nation building' where our troops act as security guards for puppets who give goodies to big US corps.

And unlike his congressional 'peers' he opposed that ridiculous war on Iraq - whose only weapons of mass destruction were those which George Bush gave them- and they included poison gas and bioweapons.

If you look at a map you will see American forces have Iran encirlced in an iron vise. Gee - I wonder why they want Nuclear weapons? And I wonder why our 10,000 nukes are not enough to deter them from attacking us.

The mind boggles. Lies like we hear from govt are virutally unprecedented in history.

Never mind Dr. Paul for a moment, let me ask you directly then.. Do you feel we should remove six carrier fleets from the straight? Save a lot of money they say. Then again, if they are not there then where are they? They are not going to dry dock them...send sailors home every weekend. There is no other country so profound in their threats of innihalating another country "off the face of the planet" than Iran. Perhaps you feel we should live and let live as Ron Paul does. Let's just see what happens you say. Too late! Shoulda' voted. Iran's got the big one and used it on an ally. Suicide bombers are doing their thing all over the globe, and now Ron Paul is in office. Are you comfortable?

Crunch

I'd cut the military to the bone and retain 5000 nukes and would use them on anyone who did a 9/11 on us or hosted folks who did. And NO bloody alliances with faux allies like Britain and Saudi Arabia - or anyone for that matter.

We could have ended this pretend war (there is no war - not with the borders open - be real) the easy way. On 9/11 I would have nuked Tora Bora. War ends that day. Rag heads crawl back in their holes.

Since we became an empire we went from economic powerhouse to bankgrupt. We are the security guards of the world, upon completing a tour of duty you can come back home and flip burgers.

Yeah, bring the bloody carriers home. Iron hasn't surronded us - we surronded them. We gave gas and bioweapons to Saddam Hussein to use on the Iranians! Which he did! For God's sake look at a map. Tell me who is the aggressor?

Suicide bombers? Where? Are you honestly afraid of ragheads? If so then you should be voting for the only man who would defend our borders. There is only one. Ron Paul. (I'd float those carriers up the rio grande where they can do some good)

no matter what the theory might be, Ron Paul is nobody.
he's gaming the system, the republican system that is.
he will arrive at the convention with a few delegates to bargain with,
they will agree to some token fed policy, and then he will evaporate.
if he ran as a 3 rd party libertarian he just might have a chance, but that would wreck his sons senate chances so,,,,,,,,,
so zero. nothing but talk
talk for the occupy movement.
and all the ron paul supporters will get to spend the next 4 years saying;

If only...........................
