BTW having a SRV hat does not make you play like SRV.
Jimmy doesn't sound dangerous to me, he sounds a little immature, and annoying.
I wasn't talking about guys with Epiphone Les Pauls lol.
I love my Les Paul, and let me tell you, it is a POS, but I have had it for 10 years, and I can still make her scream.
As for these "Gear Snobs" you are talking about man, I would never ever tell anyone they shouldn't try to keep learning. My advice to you would be to stop moving so fast, and maybe listen a little more carefully, and see if you can learn something, if you can't, or you don't, you haven't missed out on anything. I wouldn't ever give up that chance Broseph, but that is just me.
Having good gear DOES make a difference in your sound, ESPECIALLY when you are playing live. lol. It will NEVER EVER replace a good player, but it is a definite plus.
Give peace a chance. lol. Come TOGETHER!!! Right now .... over me... bum bum... doodlie DOOOO doooo.... *repeat* DC AL Fine *weeping for songs end*
