I recorded this today using backing tracks. I used the onboard amps (COSM)
that are in the BR1180 I couldn't find an amp sound on there that I liked. I mainly recorded this to use my new monitors. It is yours truley on geetar! What do you guy's think?

Well crap! After listening to it the volume is real low. be careful and turn down the volume as soon as the song is over because the next one comes in REAL LOUD!

Good job Jeff! This is one of the tracks I had played at my wedding. I'm not crazy about the backing tracks, where are they from? It sounds like they're playing an F major, it should be a minor seventh. Did you ever listen to my version on my Ruimusik site? My version is acoustic based, I did all of the backing tracks. It would be fun to jam with you on that one and trade licks. Way to go!

Yes Jimmy I did listen to that several months back when you posted it. It is VERY good! That was The Planet Of Rock backing tracks. I am a HUGE Santana fan and can play most of his stuff pretty close to note for note! I decided at the end of this to drift off into my own style. When I recorded the backing tracks I must have had the volume low. I noticed during the mix down and mastering the volume was pretty low. I have never recorded, prerecorded music before so it was a lesson learned.

We are getting ready to go see a drummer that used to play in Cruise Control tonight. It is their bands first time at this club so I am taking a crowd to support them!

Yes I liked how you did your own thing at the end, very cool, I tend to stay close to the original when I do a cover. Have fun tonight!

You rock Mr Haley, I listened to a
little bit of Europa(I'd never heard
the original), not fond of the song,
but your guitar playing is good.

Man I went down on your player and
listened to Consuelo, and Let Her Go,
your picking the sh*t out of that guitar,
that's what I like. The other 2 were quite
good also, Lucky Star, and Life Goes On.

That song Let Her Go kicks ass, and the guitar
work is excellent, as it is on all your stuff I've
listened to.

Your the man :)

Beautiful song. For some reason with your playin' style the song seemed way to short. 8)

Thank you guys for the props! My recording skills need a LOT of work! I have a TON of idea's for new originals and I am looking forward to recording them!
The last original I recorded In My Mind was a strange endeavor for me. I sat down at the recorder with no idea WHATSOEVER as to what I was going to record! Usually when I record an original I have the song already written. Occasionally I like to take myself out of my comfort zone to see what will happen. I think all things considered the song turned out pretty good.

Your guitar skills are sick.
( I almost feel like I'm insulting you using these younger guys slang LOL )

When your Tech skills catch up you will be truly a force to be reckoned with.

Nice job J... Bravo!
I really like that song but have never taken the time to work through it. I'll have to put it on the to-do list.

So how are those new monitors working?
