The dog that bit me was some kind of awful stomach virus or possibly food poison.

I'd not care to repeat last nights painful experience again in my lifetime.

With limited health care experience and extensive food service experience, I would say it's food born illness. even if not, my recommendations are the same... copious amounts of clean water until hunger defeats you. Then go to a fibrous protein, and limited sugars (if your blood/sugar can take it), for instant energy your body needs to kick this. A Honey bun doubles as a sugar, but is a diminished fiber. As a diminished fiber, it can still soak some of what you've taken in George. It doesn't have to be a honey bun. If you're too sick for Cheerios w/milk n' sugar, try buttered toast cut in small squares w/ milk and a little sugar on it. Try it, or wait it out for 3-4 days.

Had to work, so didn't drink. Took one shot at midnight for tradition's sake, but that's about it.

Klug, I am green with envy! Sounds like you had a great night! :D
I spent the evening at my sons house we had a LOT of beer a bottle of Patron, a bottle of Tequila Rose for the ladies. There was a ton of food assortment of munchies. We had the music turned up loud and the next thing I know I am wrestling out in the lawn with my 3 grown boys! It gets a little crazy when alcohol and the Haley boys (rednecks) are hanging out! They wanted to prove they could take the old man and of coarse I had to prove they couldn't!

My choice of the night was a rough cocktail of antivirus, benadryl, and vicodin.

Come to think of it, none of that was really my "choice".

Eh oh well.

I missed it. I forgot all about it being New Years, which I don't celebrate anyway, and went about things usual.... just like when Christmas celebrations began last August, By the end of the month I've had enough of that too.
I'm so sick of all the political lies and spews that I turned off the TV when it all began and I'm leaving it off until the new dictator is elected, or bought.... whatever the case.

Fever broke last night. Feel better. Much less pain, no nausea, some apatite has returned.
I took another day off work hopefully to recover some strength as well as recover from the diarrhea that still plagues me.

Was some awful sh*t and very painful. Not like I had experienced in some time.

Still weak and dehydrated ... copious amounts of water today is the plan and rest too.

Glad y'all all survived. Welcome to 2012. 8)
