All one of us anyway. ;)
I just reassembled my full "full band" live looping set up after 2.5 years. That's bass, cigar box guitar, wurlitzer electric piano, and drums. I plan to get my guitar back into the rig and another keyboard eventually. About 2.5 years ago I started playing stand up drums for a 6 piece with 2 of my nephews. It was a great time. I got a lot better as a drummer. Then I got heavy into playing my wurlitzer and honed that skill. All the while I never gave up on looping. I kept that skill tight with A Capella live loops. Last night I played "full band" for the first time in years. It was like being reunited with an old flame. Except I was better on drums and piano. And the Cigar box guitar is a BLAST! Man it felt great!!! It's ON!!! Full band live looping videos will follow. 8)

Whoa, I just had an idea! I'm not sure if this would be possible but why not record one of your looping tunes. I mean studio version. Then video you playing drums all through the song, then vdeo you playing guitar through it, etc. Until you have howver many parts you perform on that song. Then superimpose all video parts together in one video. A bunch of Neanderpauls on ONE Youtube video performing your tune! How cool would that be?

One good thing about a one man band: no one to fire :)

We're getting the band back together! We're on a mission from God. Love that movie.

I've actually been toting that idea around for years. It will happen. It's been done yes, but I also plan to incorporate my many hair do's, hair dont's, beards, goatees, jazz dots, etc. Overalls, shorts, shirt and tie, etc etc. It takes a green screen which I don't have. So I will need some help. If I can get the right person's eyes on one of my videos it could happen.

Today I assembled 3 cameras and a line out from the p.a. into my ipod to catch audio direct. I'll assemble those 4 elements together after I film today. I'm obsessed with a newish song I wrote on my CBG.

Lol! And scheduling practice is a no brainer. There are no disputes over set lists, and I never have to split the proceeds!

Just make sure that you get along well with your bandmates, or I'll be REALLY worried!

Paul, I have a friend that does a one man show with midi backing tracks. He has everything in his computer. he has a small Bogner amp sealed in a sound proof box and there is a mic on it sealed inside with it! He listens to me about the frustrations of working with musicians. While I was ranting the other day he laughed and said I don't have to deal with all that. He can turn up loud or down as low as a stereo! 8)
