I don't eat red meat and I try to eat healthy - never works around the holidays, but I'm maintaining my weight loss I did earlier.

It's amazing that eating a ruby red grapefruit every morning can do for your health. Grapefruit can reduce your cholesteral up to 40% and I'm proof.

Two years ago, my cholesteral was 240 and I got in trouble, so I started exercising more and changed my diet and got it down to 214 last year, but my HDL was still 155. I started eating a grapefruit a day in February, not only does it ward off most colds, flus and other illnesses by boosting your immune system, when I got my blood checked in August my cholesteral was 154!!!! A point lower than my total HDL. And get this, my HDL was 99! It should be under 100. Of course, I lost 17 pounds, but I think the grapefruit is what did it.

But here's the kicker, you can't eat grapefruit and take the cholesteral meds - they react with one another, so if you want to try the grapefruit route, you have to get off the meds. If you aren't on the meds, try the grapefruit for six months and have your blood work done, you'll see a big difference.

Kerry, you can so get disability. I got mental disability because I was pretty messed up and when the State tried to tell me I coudl work, I went before the judge who got so see what a lunatic I was, so I got it. The problem with disability is they make EVERYONE fight them, because of all the boobs that used the system. So go to work, make a video of yourself trying to do your old job and even prepare demonstrations for the judge to show that it's impossible for you to do what you did before.

Also, sign up for the Department of Rehabilitation. This will also show the court that you aren't just some lazy ass trying to milk the system. Most state programs will pay for you to go to school and it will buy you some time while you're fighting for your SSI. You can pick any field you want and they'll pay for your schooling, transportation, uniforms and all that. School helped me get my mental faculties back in order. So look that up. If your quack of a doctor is giving you sh*t, get another one, he's not the be all end all. You have to fight unfortunately. Good luck.

Chaeya

Thank You, Chaeya....Good part is that my lawyers are very vigilant on all my necessities ( bills, compensation, Physical Therapy, and Disability$$) They already have tons of pics describing my permanent injuries as well as my limitations! I had them put in for long term earlier then usual as it takes forever and my disability is permanent and all the proof is documented so I'm just hoping all goes off without a hitch as now my life and life style has changed drastically for the worse and just the satisfaction of knowing that I will be taken care of a little financially in the future will definitely put me at ease in that area! If it doesn't work, I will be forced to work until my boss realizes Im of no use and I'll collect unemployment while I, yet again, fight for disability.

Blood pressure update: latest BP reading 124 over 85. Nearly 50 points lower from 172 over 105 three weeks ago. All this through diet, chiropractic adjustment, and a few herbal remedies. NO PRESCRIPTION MEDS. I've been eating LOTS of veggies, three piecess of fruit, a handful of seeds, GALLONS of herb tea, a cup of beans, garlic pills, 500mg magnesium, and 1000 mg Vitamin C per day. So far so good...

Bob I mean this in the nicest way, you
need to add some exercise in there.
Diet is the key, team it up with regular
excercise, and you will feel the benefits.

I'm a musician who sits alone and practices
alone damn near everyday. I don't get out
much anymore and my people skills are lacking.
Wonder if they'd give me a check. You know I
never asked. I'm playing and composing at a
high level, nothing more than a lounge act.
Your people skills are not lacking. You've put me on the move. Krip, which you still are to me, will find a way to find a way and get acquainted to your injuries. That will tell you what you can do and what aggravates your pain and what you can live with. This doesn't seem like good news, you haven't reached it yet. Cheya, It's good to hear your posts again. It's good to hear your busy. With your musical performances and product line, I hope you the best! Exercise is irreplaceable. It is also as addictive as any medication prescribed.
