Nice jam. Looks like Line 6 Amp in the background. A Spider Jam maybe?

So yeah, you don't need pedals b/c the amp will get you the sound you were looking for.

Yeah come on over Mr Scott, I've been hosting
Sunday audition/jams in it the last month or so,
what a crowd of players we've run thru here from,
craigslist, bandmix, and friends, they've all been great
people. I have been letting them drink and smoke in
there, but were only 420 friendly on the back porch,
so bring your guitar and let's rock. No one off camera,
I've wandered around lost and alone in this house the
last year and a half.

Hey thanks Denny, yeah it's a Spider Jam 3, the best
practice amp I've ever had, but I don't like using it
while playing with a group. The pedal that goes with the
Spider Jam 3 gives me to many choices, I prefer an amp
set up with a rhythm channel, and a channel with higher
gain to boost the volume on lead breaks.

Lynard

Good stuff.

When I hear other folks playing it makes me want to pick up either my guitar or bass. In this case, bass. You've got the guitar angle covered up nicely.

Hey Talbot thank you so much, greatly appreciated.
I couldn't cover the bass any day(but I can be pretty
bossy about how to play one), I didn't sing in this one
so I knew it would come out better. Been videoing
Sunday jams I've had lately, last week had 4 guitars,
bass and drums, we were way to loud, but then again
you can't here my singing. I play everyday, after a 10
year hiatus of not touching a guitar, and 20 years since
last playing in a group, I've become obssessed with music
like I was 30 years ago. The Lord moves in mysterious ways.

I see I'm not the only on who likes to play up under the lights.

Even if I have to do it by myself. 8)

Rock on man.

You just summed up my situation as well. I started back in it about five years ago and have become pretty fanatic again. Have been bouncing around with various players since then looking for something I'll know when I hear it. Hopefully based on my tunes.

I wrote a song called 'Encore' to describe this phenomenom.

'Encore! Second time around,
Runnin' out of time: life has it's boundaries.
What ever I'm gonna get done, I better get done soon..." etc

Tonight I played that song for the first time with my new drummer and it worked pretty good. I can actually sing it but like you said - there is a case for loud guitars! :D

I want to get this recorded and a couple others - including one we wrote together which is certainly a good introduction for two players.

Hey Mr. Talbot,

That line in your song says it all,
"Whatever I'm gonna get done,Ibetter get it done soon"
Keep on rockin man, its the only thing that keeps
me going, and you can rock. Is that you singing on
the songs in your bandmix profile. I think the singer
is doing a fine job. Singings my weak point,(tho I do it
all the time), thinking about a vocal processor one of
these days.

Thank you Sans, I've got all the lights so I try to set-up
all my equipment in this new bigger room, but it's already
to small, can't get everything set-up. I play out here alot
by myself, with the Spider Jam 3, those boys playing on
the backing tracks of the Spider Jam 3 are always in tune
and on time, (tho a little to predictable). Thanks Sans
I've watched many NKF videos and think you guys rock.

Thanks Paperdog, no need to be jealous I'm only playing
5 notes (pentatonic minor scale, working thru all 5 modes).
Your pretty good yourself I watched your open mic video,
tough job to get up there with just you a guitar and a mic,
doing original tunes, (I always bring a drummer or another
guitar player to those kinds of things).

Thanks to all I'm humbled, I sure talk enough s#*t on this
forum, but ultimately we are all brought here by our love
of music. 8)

Thanks for the props brother. :D

I tend to talk too much sh*t here but in the end it is the love and devotion to music that keeps me coming back.

Things are a little rough right now as we are having some difficulty getting accustomed to our new guitarist.

Not him personally ... we like Jax a lot ... just the change is difficult to have someone other than our front man playing the rhythm.

Perhaps tomorrows gig will help ... though it may be a little ragged.
