they`re out there looking but it just might not be what some people are looking for.others get intimidated ,we`ve seen this first hand.and of course some talk the talk but can`t walk the walk.

Man, I'm so glad I finally found a band of players with equal playability! Took me about a year and a half to find them. You have to pursue being in a band until the legs run out in order to get on...most of the time anyways.

Like my nephew, Ian. He broke his dad's heart when he said he didn't want to be in a band with his dad. That's one of the reasons his dad killed himself.

I have sent out over 50 messages to people over the last three weeks and go 2 replies. Is there anyway to tell if they are reading or even getting these messages. What gives with the no replies. It is frustrating as hell?

I sympathise with you, although you have to remember that most musicians are of a selfish nature and are interested only in what they can extract from others. That has been a fact over the 30 years that I have been in the business. It could also indicate that they are very busy or totally unmanageable. I am unsure of what the messages that you sent were about but at least you have a reply that you didn't ask for.

You realize this guy posted almost a year ago, right? There are a number of discussions here about sending messages to BM non-premium members - basically, if they haven't checked into their profile for a week, they are probalby not checking for messages.

I've been getting replies but when it comes to meeting up or auditioning they chicken out. Really annoying where I live there are a ton of musicians. I don't know if people are intermediate or what. All I wanna do I do shows for people and practice 2 times a week is it too much to ask of people to show up?
