yea I know I tried to rip & post stuff last night & it didnt work , so I'll keep on trying . In the mean time anyone who cares to can go to seetheedge.com & there are tunes to listen to under down load just clic on them & they play.I think you may have heard them already. Ive been re- recording some of my originals & some altered covers as a project to get players interested . I wanted to post them, down loaded rippers & info on how to convert but they keep coming up as m4a ?

I have a special affinity for texas music as I lived in Dallas. 74 -75 & played w/ a band that went by the name of cheyenne wells. there were some bad mo fo gtrs down there then & obviously there still are. & thats me w/ my fav strat

That's me singing and playing guitar but I didn't write those songs they were written by the keyboard player and other guitar player I think its the first 8 or 9 songs on my site were written by those 2 guy's I helped a little with some arrangement and wrote all of my guitar solo's. I had joined that band a few months before we recorded that. Did you listen to One Time? I like the dual guitar harmonies me and the other player played. I play the first solo after that harmony and he plays the 2cd one.

I liked that tune as well , actually liked all of them . I'm a big allman bros fan so dbl lead is always nice . great gtr tone also which amp were you using ? most people dont seem to get that thicker tone with a strat. they always stick with the clean strat which I love but being able to go from the clean flange / chorus sound to the thick od'd lead is what is really cool about stratocasters

That was a crate gx120 no tubes LOL! I wasn't using the strat then. It was a Ibenez Roadstar II VERY strat like guitar.

Is that a Lonestar strat? I've got one of them with a maple neck and love it to death.

Mike my strat is an American Standard. It had 3 single coil pickups when I bought it but I put a JB Junior Trembucker in the bridge position. I also changed out the tuning machines with Planet Waves self trimming low winding machines. I can change all 6 strings in 5 minutes. It only takes a 1/4 wind around the peg!
