I first clicked on this thread because I THOUGHT I was going to read about peaceful serene landscapes. Something I enjoy! Only to read a bunch of negetivity and bigoted insults directed to the State I love and have lived in my entire life. Its nice to read positive things sometimes LOL!

We have an interesting mix here, blacks, Arabs, Hispanics and rednecks, you'd fit right in.

How did you know I was a black hispanic arab?

I've got a few muslim friends and quite a few arab friends. No one tops their hospitality. Yet, I do admit that I can't tell the good ones from the bad ones by looking (usually) so I tend to be suspicious...but I'm working on overcoming that initial impression.

Maybe it's because I was almost killed 3 times in 6 days by terrorist bombing of dance clubs in Israel 2001? Or maybe it's because I narrowly escaped being torched by 4 Palestinians in east Jerusalem one night in November 2009?

Yet, on the other hand, I've joined Arabic christians several times in worship teams; and a close friend who is Sudanese muslim read from Romans 8 and recite the Lord's Prayer on a song I recorded in 1998 about the persecution and slavery of Sudanese christians.

Anyway...don't want to be spreading rumors that aren't true so I checked to see which American cities have the highest muslim (not necessarily arab) populations and was surprised to find it was L.A. but Dearborn did get a special status among them.

Los Angeles Metropolitan city including nearby suburbs and Orange
county has the highest population of Muslims from all over the world.
It is spread in highest square mile area than any city of USA.

New York city inlcuding its suburbs has second highest number of Muslims from all Muslim countries.

Metropolitan city of Chicago including all its suburbs has the third
highest population of Muslims from all Muslim countries. .

Dearborn has more Arabic speaking families than any other city of USA. There are no significant number of non-Arabic speaking Muslims in Dearborn.

Sorry to hijack the thread. I'd rather talk about beautiful places anyday because hiking is my #1 hobby with photography a close second. Anyone ever hiked in Cape Disappointment WA? It's definitely not disappointing. Looks like the rain forests in Hawaii.

I hate NJ, but I love TEXAS.

It's hot, but so are the women AND FRIENDLY as well.

Texas beats the east coast hands down and the pleasant people make it even better.

Sure some are mean, but that's everywhere. Texas just does it bigger and better.

That whole area is nice (Traverse City area). Most beautiful in the country? Can't say I agree.

And no, MI is not some muslim nation. Far from it.

Then there is also Glacier Park in Montana, Coure'd Lake Idaho, and on and on and on....

There's tons of stuff in MI that is just as nice (just different) than stuff in other parts of the country-- including the West Coast.

Thanks Denny. I personally think the Grand Canyon is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to in the U.S. but there are so many cool places.

If you come to Texas you will meet the friendliest people on earth. Most folks in Texas are like George kind to the people that are not necessarily kind to them. He is a very good Texan! I grew up in Houston the big city so I tend to be a little rough around the edges LOL! My ex wife was from New Jersey moved here in 1974 then to California in 1980 where she hooked up with a biker that beat her. Her parents offered her a ticket to N.J. or Texas she still says to this day she picked Texas because Texas Has the freindliest people! I didn't say it, someone from Jersey DID! I'm not ragging on the Garden State I think its a great place too!
I think ONE of the most beautiful places in the world is the Texas Hill country! :P

I was born in Houston, raised in Beaumont, but went to Dallas in the early 80s. My band in Beaumont used to go play in Houston a lonnnng time ago. Do you remember The Pin Ups? Cheeks? Blitz? Those guys were friends of mine. Loved the Alan Haynes trio with Uncle John Creech and Tommy Shannon, but that was long ago.

Really? I keep hearing that but haven't really seen it. I mean, it's nice down there west of Austin...but one of the most beautiful in America? I'd say the mountains from Big Bend to El Paso are nicer.

And I had no idea that Michigan had ANY places that were considered beautiful, so thanks for the enlightenment y'all. I'll look a little farther out next time I'm there.

Some of the places I've visited and lived in that were beautiful to me: Martha's Vineyard, Knoxville, Melton Hill dam, Tenessee, Hackettstown N.J., Deleware Water Gap. Some of the most beautiful places were the small trout streams I fished in New Jersey: Mill Brook (Randolph) Reservoir Brook (Mendham). But some of the small impoundments in Kansas are magical places for me these days: Garnett North Lake (Garnett), River Pond (below Melvern Dam), Lyon County State Fishing Lake, and my spot on top of the world which is Brown County State Fishing Lake. All I deal with there is fish. No people, no problem. Beautiful!

But,,What have we really learned in this thread... We have learned that Uras is really Mona , who could be a guy with big boobs...

Now think with me J...

If Mona has big Boobs...could it be safe to assume that perhaps Mona is from Texas? (Everything is big in Texas, right?)

You understand that with this information, we can track MOna down and hack her system...
