Hey. I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten a message from someone claiming they need a singer to go on tour? There is no name and when I click on their picture (which is the default when someone has no personal picture), it doesn't redirect to a profile. Just seems odd. Unless people can send an anonymous message. Thanks.

It WAS a fake profile. Hopefully by clicking on it you didn't get a virus on your computer. There seems to be more and more of these popping up on Bandmix. There's been many posts on various topics that don't make any sense. If you look at the profile it's from New York, NY. Don't click anything on those posts.

Dude (I'm assuming this is a dude) replies (from Palmetto, FL) saying that he doesn't have a profile because he is not looking to be found. Him and his band are only looking for position of front lead singer to be filled. Not sure if this is the same kind of virus thing you are talking about. Just thought I would share this with others in case it is some kind of scam, which I'm sure it is.

Don't click on ANYTHING from Smithtown, NY either.

Hey just a thought, you would probably get more readers if you interviewed controversial people for your blog.

On a side note...I just figured out that I can record a video from youtube using my webcam
Probably sounds silly, but I have one of those small laptops with the webcam, and I could never figure out how to use said webcam without using skype. Skype doesn't allow you to record, but I discovered youtube does! Everyone probably already knew that....but, shhhh. Let's pretend I made a miraculous discovery

I'm not sure how all laptops are with webcams. But mine has a button to turn on the webcam and once signed in to youtube, you go to upload a video and it has the option of recording from the site. As long as your webcam is turned on, it should work. I'll have to try it later.

My profile is fake too, big deal, so what, you wanna fight about it?
