Its a start RG but you and I know that aint happening

It will involve all of us lowering our living standards, not just the politicans. I hate to say it but for all the bullshit they go thru they may deserve thier salarys, but none of them can make the necessary cuts, cause they cant get elected, we elect them to bring fat back home, if they dont the dont get re-elected.

Its sad, really sad

My son is big in economics and he had some figures the otehr night based off the national budget and this country it living off credit and broke, we will al suffer before its over, if we live long enough.

Is what it is

Our debt per year is what, 3.1, 3.2 trillion
Our intake of money is 2.1, 2.2 trillion

If it was in your house then you would have to cut back on everything you do to balance it out

I hate to say numbers but the recent stock market has hit my Retirement Package to the tune of half a mil.

In order to really fix things we will all have to suffer

Who on here is willing to suffer?

Re Portfolio, Its hopeful that the market doesn't go into panic mode... I'd say stay the course (I believe things will eventually improve)

On the other hand, its a tall order if we see others falling apart at the seams.. Again, I say: stay strong and we should not lose our heads.
