That's why politics are infested with lawyers, who incidentally, have to vow to set aside their morality to defend the guilty. Once they have done that, everything is subject to their moral less temptations.

Under the sludge and slime of the sewer treatment plant waste ponds of America breed the lawyers and politicians of tomorrow. It is said "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all". And that is the only nice thing I can say about them.

Two things for sure about the current TEA party / Grand Ole Plutocracy have proven .... 1. The spirits of Bush-Cheney are alive and well. 2. Both parties (the are really no different from one another) are still putting party interests before the needs of America.
The TEA party and GOP are like a person that chose a bad mate (Bush-Cheney in 2000), they got lied to, Cheated on, stolen from and abused. They put a restraining order out, still let the idiot live with them, continue the stealing, lying, cheating and abuse them by voting him back in , in 2004.
And like a drama mama who finally got rid of the loser, they get another idiot as bad or worse .... in this case Palin, Bachman, Gingrich or Romney.
And like most drama mama's they blame the abuser, everyone else and whine to every one about how terrible their life is
The current TEA party / GOP have not shown any change since Bush-Cheney
, they have no plan, but to stop Obama at all costs to make him a one term President , by filibustering any good ideas, while America pays the price by stagnating the economy.
A few month ago every TEA Partier and GOP ( except 2 GOP members) voted to give Exxon, Shell, Mobile and BP America, a tax break and subsidies of 10 billion dollars each, while Americans get raped at the pump. They want you to forget Bush-Cheney like an Alzheimer patient that smokes PCP and that they want to give tax break to the Corporations that watered the "Grass Roots" movement.
Now the Debt Ceiling issue is really going to wake up even the most staunch idiot, that the TEA Party / GOP is only out to protect Corporate interests and continue spoiling G.W. Bush's "Have More Friends" with extended tax breaks .... it's lose-lose for the TEA party / GOP.
If they don't raise taxes on the "Have Mores", the majority will make the "Twin Party" (TEA party/GOP) lose in 2012 .... the fairytale is over.

Recall that his dad (Bush Sr) did not finish the first job in Iraq. Then, Saddam put out an assassination-hit contract on him. Needless to say, Junior followed up with a retaliation and used the entire bevy of resources at his fingertips to pull it off. I kind of think that was not the best approach. (If it was me I would have done a Black-ops and the news would never have found out "how" it got done.). My guess is he wanted America to feel like they were participants in a noble cause...(Arguable, of course).

As much as you hear me bitch and whine about any president, the reality is... one guy ain't to blame. There's a saying "We get the leaders we deserve..." I look around and I ask myself...How did I deserve this?... Then I realize, I'm inundated and distracted with devices that ensure my focus is taken away from important things; like the truth. Multiply that times the population of America...and there you have a glimpse of an answer.

He took NAFTA beyond even what Clinton started. Gave GM bailout $ without requiring that they invest in AMERICAN manufacturing.

The Patriot Act is as clear-cut a case of the removal of American freedoms as any I've ever seen attempted.

By keeping Greenspan in office, he assured that corruption would run the market. By handing out bailouts to the ripoff co's without demanding jail time when it was needed & deserved, he allowed the ripoffs to continue, as they have & do to this day.

Blackwater & other co's taking over our prisons & such are the very worst thing that can be allowed for our economy, & for our freedoms...not to mention the ridiculous COST of these firms' services.

His good ol' boy system failed us miserable during Katrina, yet he did nothing to make the situation better. His response during 9/11, while reading to elementary school kids, just showed how ill-prepared he was to lead us in any emergency. His follow-ups & cover-ups after the fact were embarrassing, too.

His incredibly stiupid remarks during the G8 summit were embarrassing to us all. "Good bye from the world's biggest polluter!" His bragging. His bluff & bluster, & his unability to back up his words in Iraq all add up to his inability to have any real substance.

His words never backed up any of his actions concerning illegals. He was a wimpy ass-licker to many ppl who hire illegals...& fund his & his cronies' campaigns.

This country never declared war on another country who hadn't attacked us first, prior to the Iraq War. There were no WMD's, & I suspect everyone knew it but Powell...
