I don't think all the technique/jazz crowd held Herb in very high regard, But much like a lot of my favorite guitarists, his trumpet playing is instantly recognizable as soon as he starts playing. He definitely has that business acumen thing down. He's one of those guys like Jagger who is never going to wake up broke because he trusted others with the cash! And what little punk ass kid in the '60s didn't love the LP cover from "Whipped Cream And Other Delights"?!!! HOOOWAAHHH!
