You sure can tap dance Slacker, a lot better than you play guitar. I've stayed alive by avoiding idiots like you.

In 27 years I've drawn my gun 5 times. Never had to shoot for which I'm grateful. Most in LA - very tough town.

bottom line? That's five times I've protected myself and or others and were in danger when I drew. (three of those times occured when I was chasing alarm calls like an idiot - but nobody else wanted to hire a musician)

A big Mexican guy demanded I buy him drinks in a pub one evening in LA. I was packed but never even thought about my gun. Wasn't that kind of thing. His friend saw me take an empty beer bottle and get ready to rock and to his great credit restrained his friend.

If I were honest, I'm one of the few people I trust with a firearm. But I can't think of any way to pass a law allowing only me to be armed.

You know, I get these natural-only dweebs in Colorado keep scaring my business by throwing this bill to Washington to make me report everything I put in my lotions - last year they wanted the chemical make up of every ingredient listed on the label. The way the language was worded, I would have had to put the chemical constitution of distilled water on my labels. So you buy a lotion, I'd hand you a 10-page printout of what's in it. Most of these chicks are idiots who have no knowledge of chemistry or anything, they just go around scaring the crap out of people with lies and misinformation about cosmetic products. They've done this two times so far and each time, all of us handmade beauty business owners like myself band together and we write letters and the head of our organization is a lawyer, who together with several other owners went to Washington and fought it. We won. Now, the crickets are singing over on their front because they can't pull it off. And we're prepared to fight it every time.

So will there be a gun law banning citizens? I highly doubt it.

So don't give me any sh*t about what handguns are made for.
You have no idea what your talking about.

Who you responding to? I can't didn't anything any one said anything about why we have handguns.

Numerous post and a national add campaign that says handguns are only made for killing people.

That's bull sh*t ...

Only fools blame inanimate objects for actions they are incapable of committing on their own.
And I for one am sick of fools.

Simple fact ... more homicides in the US by blunt force trauma than by firearms and edged weapons combined.

So lets ban table lamps shall we.
They are only made for killing people.

Good one RG , However the time to stop making light humor of this is drawing near.
Congress is being bypassed by regulation of rule and law by all the individual departments. Laws are being enacted and taxes being collected with all our voices being ignored by both parties. They call it politics, I call it Treason.

Tell Soros to get his money out of this country before we have real grounds to unleash the CIA to protect our constitution. Not just me,,, WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Funny thing.

Wife sons and I were sitting in a restaurant the other day.

Small talk amongst some strangers ensued about the right to bear and the 2nd Amendment.

Men, women, various ages, races and socioeconomic back grounds all chimed in.

I sat and listened, then spoke up.

All I said was ... I got your back brothers ... ALL agreed.

I love TEXAS ! :D

Another problem with them is that many domestic disputes escalate into bloodshed when a handgun is in the home.

Lots of big kitchen knives in the home also.
Easier to access in the heat of the moment too.

Hmmm, better take them away.

Jeez, do we really have to have this discussion?

Guns don't kill, people do.
Handguns work in small places. Rifles, not so well... if you wake up to an intruder in your room, are you going to whip the droor open and yank out your 30.6?
Are you going to whip out your cell phone and call and wait for the police?

Hell no. Your going to pull out your 357 and blow his fukn head off... unless your one o those that think only the police and military should have weapons designed for small spaces!

Police use shotguns and pistols for close encounters of the kind you don't want. Same as the military in house to house fighting. Oh yeah, wasn't it the military that just 2 weeks ago under threat that they may not get paid unless congress agreed on some bill, and government might shut down. Huh,! Well, I love to shoot my 9. I wouldn't use it to rob someone. I would to protect my family. 12 year old steals car, kills newly retired couple in police chase. Get rid of cars. Generally, long rifles are used for long range. Shotguns and assault rifles are handy in close quarters offensively and defensively. I am a 4th award Marine rifle expert. I can pick the sh-t off a fly's ass from 500 yards. without a scope. However I don't feel the need in the interior of the US for a long range defensive weapon because long range does not constitute imminent danger. I would also say that given todays historic events that no country is immune to strife, upheaval, rebellion, or revolution!

AH C'MON CRUNCH. That's not even a third of a mile.
Now top this, My best shot was a firefly at @ 800 yards, [you have to wait for the flash] over my shoulder, looking through a mirror, during a hurricane, with a naked woman dancing around in front of me, at night without a scope, after a good bottle of "jameson", with a pellet gun pumped 6 times. Confirmed kill, cause the next day we walked out there and sure enough there was a dead firefly. :)

I know, I'm so sorry, I felt bad for weeks, I'll never do it again, promise.

From now on it's only 'squitos.

New country song,,,, "Please don't take your flubbers and leave"

Take the dog, take my hair,
take the house I don't care,
Take the car, I won't grieve,,
But please don't take your flubbers and leave...

Awe c'mon darlin' it was just a small bug and besides, how do you know for sure it wasn't "packin'" :)
