Not as any aspect of "religion" but to reflect how often good deeds and thoughts ( positive energy ) is rewarded by the universe with more good.
And how negativity begets more negativity.
I am also a Christian, and I don't buy into that. My philosophy is strictly scripturally based and there is no implication what so ever of universal reward for good in it anywhere. I am not a teacher of scripture, but perhaps someone who knows scripture better can show me where this universal good is referred to.
However, I do know where these scriptures are. If you are a scripture based Christian, you have to believe all scripture as relevant. If not for prophesy, then for example. Therefore all scripture is written for reproof and correction to the believer.
But if you do not believe the Bible to be the word of God, then never mind.
Lam 3:38 Good and bad each happen at the command of God Most High.
Lam 3:37 No one can do anything without the Lord's approval.
Joh 3:27 John replied: No one can do anything unless God in heaven allows it.
