Excellent point Krul. What is the role of the vocalist in a punk rock band? Not singing in the traditional sense. Punk started as a rejection of the prog rock movement, so the vocalists are usually not classically trained and don't sing with vibrato or harmony. Yet they still need to have melody and power.

It's the riff from one of those tracks! I was walking around all day singing parts of those songs. I was sitting at a stoplight when I was singIng that riff. I whipped out the cell phone and recorded a "voice text".
