He's an amazing player. That first UK record was awesome. By the time I saw them he was already gone, as was Bruford. Eddie Jobson was pretty cool too, I'll post another one featuring him.

That was just awesome bro! I started listening to their other songs, and I'm obsessed now. I've never heard these guys before. Thanks for turning me on to them! I've been on a an old school Prog. hunt lately.

Cool! I still have that album on vinyl. My roommate/drummer was a Bruford fanatic so we wore the grooves out of all his stuff.

Here is another hot tune from that era for Krul. Turn it up!

Wow! This stuff is dynamo! Another buried treasure I knew nothing about. So cool to hear this kind of musicianship for the first time. What is this, Funk-Jazz-Fusion-Progressive? It don't even matter cause it's just good stuff. Why isn't this guy ever featured in Guitar World mag?

Al can rip the guitar fer sure. My favorite albums from him were "Elegant Gypsy" and "Casino". I saw him a couple of years ago with Return to Forever, mind blowing!

Dude, that's gnarly! This might be the coolest one I've heard so far. I have to get this ASAP! Is it still available in the stores?

I have these three bands written down( U.K., Al Di Meola,Mahavishnu Orchestra), and I plan on searching further into this world. I was listening to some new progressive metal but felt cheated after I heard the real deal.

I could see the bands you've posted influencing me further on into writing. I've been wanting to experiment with organs and maybe even a little moog. Yeah, this stuff hits home. Looks like I've arrived, not kidding. Take me further into the galaxy, post more por favor.

Sure you can still get these great albums. Start with "Inner Mounting Flame" and "Birds of Fire". I'm glad I could turn a young musician on to this, I've been listening to it for 40 years!
