Jimmy, your back-ground singers are belting this song out, but your lead singer seems like he's somewhere's else.
I would like to punch him in the face, just before he starts singing, just to get him mad enough to sound like he means what he sings.
(oh yeah, I been punched.....but I also got a high tolerance for pain.)

Punch him in the face and a drunken Lady Raga will scratch your eyes out.

First, he's not a singer. He's a front man, a performer who also does vocals. Most of what he does, he does on stage so audio only doesn't really do him justice. But people who have seen him get it, and want recordings. Second, recording music is my passion, not so much his, but believe me he means what he sings. Thanks for listening; I'm quite pleased with the results.
I loved it, and thought the lead singing was really good. Seems to me that you introed a lead break, then at about 1:23 the song was set up to wail on the guitar. Just a thought, I love wailing guitars. Overall everything I've heard by The Farleys I've liked.
It's a good day to die

Thanks again Lynard. It's getting to the point where I'm not crazy about doing lead guitar solos; I try to make them sound more like a part of the melody than a solo. If anybody wants to step in and wail on solos I'll play rhythm!
That's going to be a killer CD JD ! I look forward to my copy.
Its another day in Paradise !!!!

Once again, thanks guys! Tonight we mix the last song, and maybe master if there's time. I'm getting prices on a short-run pressing, I'm thinking 300-500 units.
We stayed at the casino last night and I "donated" a chunk of change to the machines. Had fun though.

Your songs have that early NY punk vibe!
Very F'ing cool!
He's not suppose to be a singer...was Johnnie DeeDee or Joey Ramone!
