In the world of sex drugs and rockin roll I grew up in here in East Texas ...
An F'n A man was the comment you often got when you excelled at something to the extreme, or some sh*t was really really cool.

Again I say with all sincerity ... F'n A man !

The accompaniment is a play along CD from Jamie Abersold/Hal Leonard.

Jah, I am familiar with them. I have seen them on the tube a few times. Hearing this makes me look forward to getting into the studio next month.

Mary, had a listen and I really enjoyed it, very good recording, very challenging flute parts that you met head on, plus the mood of the music was soothing. I'm not a big fan of jazz, but I appreciate it and can listen to the right sort.

Now, don't take this wrong, but the first song kept reminding me of the Peanuts cartoon where Snoopy is imagining himself getting away from the Red Baron. The second song made me hungry and wish I was at a restaurant having dinner. These both made me feel good.

Hey Mary, from some one who grew up listening to the likes of McoyTyner, Milt Jackson, Gary Burton and countless others... You did one good thing with your solos. You started some where , took me some where, and resolved it back to the head. That is what I call musicianship.

I'm not even going to try and explain that to so many of these "lick" based players.

Any way I appreciate the effort, and remember, It's ok to step out as long as you remember to bring the listener back home. NICE.

Well done miss Mary. I doubt the quality would have been as good if Jamie, etal would have given you an MP3 to work with........wait.......that was another Post.......

Sounds great. I always listen to a little Jobim (I taught myself "Wave" for a friend's celebration of life) after my fill of metal and hard rock, I ain't gonna lie. He was a master of simplicity. Then I put on some Ravel, and that brings me back to.......metal.

"Get them to like you: play something nice......then make them hate you: play something that makes them sad, or angry.....then make them identify with you: play something that sounds familiar......then make them like you again............That's the hard part." -Les Ledo

If you can do all this in 32 bars (I mean musical bars, not beer drinking)......RollerCoaster of emotions!!!!!!.......just think about the "classic" guitar solos, and why it is you like them. This "chemistry" is what makes them so memorable.

Glen, my little devil......what is it I "don't get"......you failed to mention.....or is it that your tongue got tied, or maybe you want to start sumptin'....I can piss pretty far........I'm not puttin up MP3 shite, and I dont put up demos, and I dont want to be rated....and I'm not cutting BM into my budget....so make a constructive comment/rebuttal or just get over it.

Now tell me what it is I "dont get" ........."or just shut up." (your own words)
