I take your band seriously. Thanks for sending me your new CD. There's a few seriously good songs on there. Tell your band members that if somebody like me takes it seriously THEY should take it seriously...

So, what's the latest explosion about? I thought everyone was pretty dedicated to the fold.

What Bob said X 2 !! I"ve been listening to my CD at least 3-4 times a day and find myself singing all that really matters constantly. Your band will keep on keeping on even when you think it wont. The lord has great plans for your music IMHO . Sometimes the more serious you want to be about something scares someone who isn't . This I've seen on a personal level a lot lately . Good luck !

I just felt really frustrated yesterday. Seems fate has been working against me of late. It has been 3 rehearsals now since the whole band has been present.
I know the guys have family, and there have been some extenuating circumstances, but I just have this burning desire to forge ahead.

More impatience on my part than any real "issues" as far as the bands cohesiveness is concerned.

We had a really good rehearsal last night despite Tony being out.
And Tuesday was a learning experience as well with Ray out and Tony doing lead vocals and myself trying to cover all the rhythm work.
Last Tuesday we ended up with just the rhythm section working together.
( that was pretty cool because I did about 40 minutes of improv lead work to the bass and drums. )

It is nice to have people whom know the drill to vent to though. Family and non musical friends just don't get it.

Sans, JMHO, but, if they don't show up for practice then they're not really interested and need to be replaced eventually. I've had band members in some old groups flake out under the flimsiest excuses, like "I can't come to practice. I'm watching porn."

That tells me that when any obstacles come along they will not go through them with you. Finding reliable musicians is a bitch.

I hope things work out for you anyway.
