We are Ps147 (after the Psalms 147) located in the beautiful Lake Norman area of North Carolina and we are looking for a vocalist/frontman. Acoustic player would be an added plus. Our former singer has been blessed to do His work out of state. Ps147 is an adult Christian rock band which consist of hardworking, dedicated professionally seasoned musicians. All members have a numbers of years playing secular music and now Christians with a heart for serving the the King thru music.
The ideal frontman should be emotional, charismatic and outgoing. A person vocally styled similar to Mac Powell of Third Day or Bucky Covington from American idol would be a great match. Most importantly would be abilities no matter what your style. Age is not important. We are slotted for church events and outdoor festivals so a candidate would need to lead a congregation or be a Christian entertainer/frontman at festivals etc. All band members can testify when and as needed.
Ps147 is much, much more than a praise team. All members believe in presenting a professionally polished band so we practice often and make it productive. Christian musical influences are Third Day, Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, Todd Agnew etc. Are you dedicated, a teamplayer, a serious musician with a strong work ethic?
