Don't be mislead, ALL OF NJ is an armpit.

My favorite chunk of underarm hair in Jersey is Newark. When I first visited there, I went to the banks of some river that ran near the town (can't recall the name of the river) and saw a dirty, ripped up and stained mattress floating down the water, and on it were two large rats fighting over a month old piece of chicken out of a partial KFC dinner box.

I thought "Newark....YEAH, BABY!!"

And the 2 rats cried, "if the log rolls over, we'll all drown". LMAO

Haven't been all over Jersey, but I've been to Newark, Hoboken, North Brunswick, Ft. Lee, Camden, Trenton, among others.

Jersey girls are fun. That's one thing I know. ;-)

new jersey has some areas that i often read as ranked very high in livability-- like monmouth county.
i hate hearing about how urban areas are in such a state. by improving them, many problems can be solved-- racial disparities, urban sprawl, traffic congestion (people commute from WV now to DC, daily).

christian-themed bands...does anyone know anything about a band called "Puller"? they are pretty obscure. im curious about them because one guy from Puller was in a band called For Love Not Lisa. i have a FLNL cd and its ridiculously cool. they had a minor hit with "Slip Sliding [something or other]" from "The Crow II" soundtrack.

If you ever lived in NJ, then you know what I mean when I say undeniably, "this state has the most aggressive people in it, period".

If civilization fell today, they would be eating people by this evening.

But they would insult them first....or am I thinking Manhattan? No, they would ignore you to death and then feast on your flesh.

When I was in my early 20s I remember one of the first "Christian Metal" bands - I think their name was "Stryper". Are they still around? Or did they become Buddhists?

Impossible. That would be the early cretaceous period, the primordial ooze was still soft!
