And the Lord said ... Help me out here George ... you have to at least buy a ticket.

Thousands in.
Couple hundred out.

They are obviously cart before the horse.
They make her a STAR before she has done
anything significant. The stuff she has won, well
you know how those things go.

No name recognition.
No National song recognition.
A legend in her own mind.

If she was what they portray her as. She wouldn't
need to have this big audition. It doesn't make sense.

Ok, I get it. The entry fees help pay for the tour.

So... with these type of connections, this should be a walk on audition. I go down to Metal Blade Records from time to time to see how the guys are doing and even get to jam from time to time in the ware house. For free.

I guess this is a hip hop thing. For the jazz and rock gigs I have been part of there was never a fee.

Dondria Nicole Fields (born January 6, 1987), better known by her stage names Phatfffat or Dondria, is an American R&B singer, currently signed to So So Def Recordings.

Dondria was discovered on YouTube by So So Def founder Jermaine Dupri.[1] She was born in Dover, OK, and raised in Texas. Dondria began singing at a young age in her church choir after her friend David Baker asked her to join with him. In 2006 she created a YouTube channel using the username "Phatfffat" to showcase her singing talent. With Youtube she built a sizable following online, and eventually she was contacted by Dupri via a Youtube Message. Although it took several messages before she responded, when she did she was flown to Atlanta to meet Dupri. Originally she was asked to record a song with R&B Group Jagged Edge, but eventually was offered a solo contract. In September of 2010 she lost her sister shantel fields jackson in a car accident in Rodchester New York [2]

Pimps and whores,
Laughing at me.
Loneliness knocked,
And wont go away.
Spent my money,
On a five minute lay.
And now pimps and whores,
Wont go away.

I dont remember if that was part of the poem by Mick Farren. He kept things on an intelligent level.

I think it was Crispin Glover. But, he may have been quoting someone else.

You wanna hear me play for free... go to myspace, ezfolk, reverbnation or here.

yea dam'it, Why do I have to pay Pit fees to race at the local dirt track. If I lose I'm out $20.00, If I win, whoo hoo $800.00. I think I will try harder.

Or its kind of like, keeping the weird and riff raft from wasting all your time for nothing.

If I was in the area I would do it just for fun and information, and I would also play my heart out. But I guess some people need that case of beer or the six packs of cigs. Why are ya all giving this group crap over $30.00. Just a question, inquiring minds want to know.
