Is that what this place has come down to? A place to write a catchy headline, post a link to a video and respond with a cute graphic? For some reason I expect more out of musicians.

Flying Spaghetti Monster save us.

"Chill, Wilson!" (from "lock, stock, and two smoking barrels") You can express yourself by any means or medium. I just happen to like Words.

Sorry it's just people are getting so lazy. The FB crowd is pretty much the same. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself.

FB crowd?

Well, what do you want to talk about? Garbage in, garbage out.

I think it is a little ostentatious to write HUGE posts that say nothing when a brief sentence or picture will suffice. No one has said anything about the last posts in my profile update thread. I figured at least the usual a-holes from the peanut gallery would have something to say.

I hang with the Cashew gallery types, although I always thought myself to be more Pistachio or Macadamia.

Yeah Jimmy,

Pimpin for you tube is pretty much it these days. A lot of that everywhere. Living vicariously through You Tube is the new hula hoop.

The General Chat forum goes through phases. Mountains and
valleys. Right now is a particularly odd one but still a phase.
The variety of personalities is enjoyable and testing at the same
time. I find the hard fast straight liners just as interesting
as the quirky, strange, deep ones. Sometimes a wave of true
sentiment will ring through the forum when a particular topic
or subject comes up. Other times the jagged edge of rebellion
and discontent will plunge into the chest of General Chat causing
some to flee and others to act in ways they normally wouldn't.

All in all, it's a pretty interesting place to visit because the people
here participate. They are willing to show themselves with words.
Making music is expressing yourself and that is what we all do.
Using your keyboard here is just another way of doing that.
As music makers, expressing ourselves comes easy and that is why
we are able to vent the good and bad within us here. Views and opinions
clash and heads butt. Also there are some beautiful and Loving
posts and topics here that will move you inside where it counts. For
example Celtics posts about Haiti touched many people here and caused
many to act on their concern. That is something special.

I think my advise for anyone discovering this forum for the first time
would be to jump in head first if you want to get wet but don't
bother if you have thin skin and a one track mind.

It's just people being people.

People would rather complain than contribute. Maybe it is just human nature.

I'm trying to think of places to relocate stuff so I can use the closet for an isolation booth. Our home is tiny. It used to be a motel, converted into apartments.

The guy next door may leave. People never stay long in that place, for one reason or another. Recently, raccoons have kept shitting on his door. Stray dogs have followed suit. The guy can't get out without jumping over a bunch of sh*t. Now only if the jerk upstairs would go. :)
