Has anyone received any opened Xmas cards or mail?

I have several friends that have received everything from one side sliced open to nothing there but the front of the envelope.
AND they were from different people in different places.
ALSO each of them knew someone else having the same things happening to them...

Anyone else getting these?

Yeah, it gets worse in tough economic times, as ppl do just about anything & everything to get a few bucks cash, or even checks they find in other ppl's mailboxes. Sometimes it even happens from postal employees.

Yep, it has happened twice so far. They were Christmas cards with the envelopes torn partially open.

Opening someone's mail without a proper warrant is illegal... regardless of who you are.
I can't see postal workers digging through that much mail under the radar.

A crime has been committed against you if your mail is tampered with.
I would be looking for an investigation from my postmaster, and to press charges for invasion of privacy and any other charge applicable for this.

Who is protecting our mail?

Who is online
