A&E has this show on Sunday Mornings called "Private Sessions". Any of y'all seen it? It's mostly older acts doing live performances of some of their best work...
Anyway, they had Cyndi Lauper this morning. Wow! Her vocal ability seems to get BETTER every year. She sang some stuff that would put Christina Aguilera to shame. She also played a dulcimer (I think) through most of the songs.
The interview sections were pretty crazy, too. She is one odd lady. The poor host had a hard time making sense of most of it. Then, she played the trombone (badly).
The show doesn't offer a lot of variety (I've seen Meatloaf, Chicago, Hall & Oates, Dennis DeYoung and Foreigner-next week is Alan Jackson), but if you get a chance, you should check it out. The performances are interesting and the interviews give a little bit of insight into the behind the scenes...
