Speed pickers - do you angle the attack of your pick against the string, or do you stroke it at a 90 degree angle to the string? What is your fave pick style?

Do you anchor your hand to the body of the guitar, or let it float free?

If you anchor your hand to the axe, do you do it with your pinky or with the heel of your hand?

Strat players - how do you keep from hitting the volume knobs & p/u switch when you play?

Against (used to do the angle, but against makes throwing in pinch harmonics easier for me, so I trained myself to go against) Pick style? Usually a medium-heavy for shredding, lighter for strumming.

anchor with my heel (I only have to slide it forward slightly to palm mute)

Sorry if none of this is what you're talking about... never took any guitar lessons or even read those little teaching books, so I don't know the names of everything.
