Upload a tune eh ... lol .. now that would be a crazy plan for sure lol. I don't think my music will interest anyone anymore .... its old .... and so are my fingers...lol.

I still pluck away the odd tune here at home .... but even that is seldom. I think its time I hung up my guitar..... and work the management scene.

Been in Newberry since April 22 doing a seasonal stint at KOA in maintenance but finishing the last few days working in the store/registration...I live on the grounds as a host so I don't get into town, working 7 days til closing.I was living on west John until August.I heard Reggie(of Pappa Reggies)practicing with his band next door to the campground preparing for their debut at the county fair.I didn't think there were any musicians in this small community

Bummer that you don't get out much! There are a few musicians in town -- but all the good ones are currently involved in a project -- any one left isn't quite the caliber I'm looking for!!

Papa Reggie's band is the reason why I started this thread!!
My brother Joe plays bass for them --
Casey Cook - who thinks he knows it all doesn't really know anything at all -- He's the one that said that I'm an "Average American Idol Singer" - and they're the band that have been auditioning singers for over almost a year now -- He's been scratching around town tryin to find someone - but he won't call me -- and it p*sses me off!! BUT - even if he did call me at this point -- He couldn't BEG me to be in a band with his arrogant - doesn't have a clue a**!!

John St aye?? that's only a couple of blocks down from my road - only I'm on the East side! -
Well - since you never make it out anywhere -- maybe I'll pop out there one of these days and say hello!! 8)
I've been sick lately -- but am trying to prepare myself for a talent contest over in Escanaba.... last day of preliminaries are next monday (a week from today) - Hoping to win some big bucks so I can buy a new puter!!

Don't work too hard aye??

I've heard a lot of voices over the years and from what I've heard of your voice, you'd be wasting your time and talent as a background singer. You have a very energetic and well projected voice with some of the burnt whiskey overtones that make a good blues/rock band stand out.
As for being an "american idol... we're looking for the next generic sound alike to manipulate and commercialize" singer, ARE THEY OUT OF THEIR BLOODY MINDS?????
You keep on doing what you're doing because it's sounding great :!:

The owners of KOA also own the building on East John where the alternative education school is located in an old supermarket building.I had repair done on my truck with a gent just across the street from there.Definitely a small world. Our indoor pool/jacuzzi is open until Oct.14 so by all means if you have the time stop in and we will talk horror stories of the music scene.I saw that nice write up on Casey and a dj to boot but he obviously has has a dark side, perhaps ego.....Very much good luck to you in the upcoming talent contest... :D
