This is so typical of how this country has gone to hell in a handbasket. It's that mentality that says things like, "You stepped on my toe so I'm gonna cut off your foot!"

I think there's a bit of over-emotionality on everyone's part, here, resulting in the usual over-reactions, which, these days, only seem to be resolvable by cluttering up our courts with tripe.

Why must we all be so sensitive all the time? Are things really THAT bad?

What has happened to common sense is what I want to know?

Chaeya....Great post, I wasn't aware that there was a name for it.

And some of you just must not have read my second post. I have no intention of letting this go to court, as I said it's not that important to me, it was to my daughter as she was the one who was verbally assaulted by this B*tch.

So Good Grief..read the posts.....

It does piss me of though that this guy thinks that he can throw around the law like this. But I'm sure this guy has no idea what went down and truly thinks we're making this up. I also think that they are hurting money wise.

But to tell you who this woman is...they built this sprawling mini mansion overlooking the water that had to be over 6-7000 sq ft. and she didn't like it so they built another, bigger one right next door. Then the economy went TU and they couldn't sell the first one. So I really don't have that much sympathy for them, and again by all account she was a fist class Bitch........

Stranger it doesnt matter what you call the lawsuit, if this person proceeds with it then you will have to deal with it.

I wasnt there and dont really care one way or the other but thinking about the whole deal. I imagine the owner of the property asked your daughter the bride if you guys could move some vehicles. Some how that escalated into a verbal exchange. If your daughter had maybe just said OK we will move the vehicles then the whole thing wouldnt get blown up into something plain stupid.

I have been on both sides of situations like this. I know the cost and time element not to mention emotional side of it.

Maybe some better manners from your daughter on the front could have saved everyone some unnecessary grief. Maybe the owner did start harassing you guys right off the bat. I dont know only you know that, or maybe you dont know maybe its in your daughters mind.

I do hope that you dont get to court with soemthing like this. Its not fun!
