BINGO. Unless you have somebody like Jeff Beck or Stevie Ray Vaughan in your band, the vocalist is the key member. If your new vocalist is awesome on half the tunes I say adapt the rest to fit his or her style. On the other hand if you're another Clapton, then you could have somebody who sings like Elmer Fudd in your band.
