The new JW at Woodstock is a gem. There is a version of "Mean Town Blues" that kills, Johnny wails the slide. Sound quality is excellent and his brother Edgar joins him for the last few songs. Great!

Are you speaking of a new CD release ??

Yes Columbia re-released the first Johnny Winter album (in all original packaging) and included the Johnny Winter at Woodstock performance. Other releases in this series include Janis Joplin and Jefferson Airplane's complete performances at Woodstock. Johnny was a genius with slide, up there with Duane Allman IMHO.
