Baseball players are some of the most athletic specimens on planet Earth. Deon Sanders tried both and couldn't make it in baseball. Michael Jordan tried to switch to baseball and went back to the NBA. And today the baeball players are getting almost as big as NFL players. C C Sebathia who pitches for the Yankees these days is a monster. So is Sean O'Sullivan who pitches for the Royals. Those two guys would fit nicely into any NFL team. I understand not liking baseball, the pace of some games can get boring, but the players are remarkable athletes. I wouldn't want to be the one to piss off Albert Pujols...

Why are they wasting their talents on such a god-awful game? I still can't figure that part out.

Baseball is profitable with a smaller risk of becoming injured.

I like all our major sports, especially hockey. Baseball is very different from any of them. It is the only sport without a clock and the only one where the team that has the ball is on defense. Whoever designed the game was a genius IMO. There's so many close plays at all the bases. They must have tested all kinds of distances between home plate and the bases until they came out with the perfect distance. Baseball is a thing of beauty IMO, but I can see where somebody prefers a sport with more movement and contact. Did you ever try watching Australian Rules Football? I wish they had that here, it blows away the NFL IMO. Constant action and those guys wear no protection and slam each other constantly. The rules are ridiculously easy. If you ever have a chance to watch Australian Football do it, it's a blast...

I love hockey as well... it's fluid and a lot of fun to watch. I'll definitely be looking up aussie football soon, sounds awesome.

Some of the best punters ever in the NFL came right from Aussie football. There's an official AUssie Football website. They may have videos on there from games, I don't remember...

There is a tune in there somewhere. It'd sound like the bastard child of a folk music song and an anthem, with a dab of something comedic ?
