I've been hooked on Zombie movies for years. Once I saw 28 weeks later I was ruined. I liked "I am legend" a lot too. How about it? Any suggestions? I like the ones where the Zombies are fast and coordinated. Most of the zombie movies are disappointing.

You must see dead alive. It's fantastically campy.

I'll watch it. I watch them all hoping. 28 weeks was so high powered. Campy like zombieland?

Campy like I think it might hold/once held the record for most fake blood.

The Omega Man is still top o the pile for me... Shawn of the dead was good. There seems to be one every few years.
Sorry I don't have any recommendations for ya Paul.

30 Days Of Night?

Haven't seen it. I'm not a fan of the genre, but it's getting lots of hype.

Oh...wait...I think that one's a vampire movie!

You know, watching people arrive at work in the morning, go to lunch, come back from lunch then go home for the day. After doing that for 20+ years, I really have no desire to watch zombie movies.

Sometimes, Paul, we are way too much alike! I'm a total zombie freak.

Shaun of the Dead
Flight of the Living Dead
The Vanguard (very different)
Fido (a decent comedy)

Of course, I'm hardcore into the classics. I think I have every Romero film, and I have to pop in one of the Night of the Living Dead versions ocassionally (the 80's version had some nice twists on the original theme). I even like putting on the old red and blue 3-d glasses and watching the most recent "Night...". Worth the headache once in a while.

Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead were both pretty good. I recently watched Survival of the Dead-actually wasn't impressed. :(

28 Weeks Later was a much better movie (IMO) than 28 Days.

I've also got a pretty good collection of low budget films, from the 1950's to the present.
One to look for is "Flesh Eater". Not a great movie by anyone's standards, but notable for the fact that it was written, directed and produced by Bill Hinzman (who also starred in it). Hinzman was the original Zombie in "NIght of the Living Dead". The special features are also disgusting and hilarious.

The best zombie films are Romero's original trilogy; Night, Dawn, and Day of the Dead. Besides those, just about any Herschell Gordon-Lewis are on my faves list.

Cheepniz bad movies are also fun. Manos: The Hands of Fate. Painful to watch.

I've been running across a lot of Italian films ('70's, low budget). Spaghetti Zombie flicks? Good for a belly laugh. I'd love to make one myself-talked about it for a while...

Clint Eastwood as "The Zombie With No Name?" I'd watch it.

yeah, that was vampires, and an okay movie. Good use of an afternoon, but it doesn't get anywhere near my favorite movies list.

I've watched just about ever movie made on this topic. I sometimes watch them because I fiind they move quicker than some folks do in real life
