lol You speak like your music; unimaginative, stagnant and boring.

You're repetitive and you show a lack of foresight that's astounding for a musician.

But then again, I guess that's why everyone knows your name.. lol You are such a star in your own mind, no one else could possibly possess a conflicting opinion and be right.

I surmise if you had something else to say, you'd have said it.
You silence and lack of dialogue belays your small vocabulary/pee-sized brain.

And I still enjoy using my Kustom PA, thanks very much.

As another older musician once told me, "it's not so much what you have, but how you use it."

If you want to expend energy, try harder to get a drummer. At least that would be energy well spent.

"Don't forget your rope and gun, because it'll have to be a kidnapping."

I've heard some of your 'music', Skippy. "...unimaginative, stagnant and boring..." is just how I might describe it.

"...You are such a star in your own mind..."

Now, that's hilarious. This from someone with no band, no credits, no gigs and no chops. Just a free MySpace page and a lot of hot air on BM.

Why not post your CV, Skippy? You know- bands you've been in, venues you're played, radio or TV appearances. Most pros do, so why not you. Mr. Imaginary Showbiz?

Poser.

I think you are both great in your own ways. Doesn't do any service to either if such be seen right?

Pends on what you want I guess?

I am not a pro. I read your CV and I am still not impressed.

And I am not a stuck up, older, inflated ego type, either.

I have a day job and I do my thing a couple of times a month.

I like my equipment and it likes me back.

If you don't like it, I don't care. I think you smell of elderberry, to put it mildly.

It's just like if I don't like your anything, you shouldn't care what I think considering I don't feel one way or another about the whole genre of music you play, you doddering fool.

And if you talked to me in person like that, I'd remove your teeth, dentures and maybe the rod in your leg for fun. (I can make you a key chain)

I can guarantee that you would experience firsthand the joys of physical rehabilitation.

Ooooo....a tough guy.

When all else fails, resort to threats of physical violence.

I've never known a tough talker who could fight worth a damn. Of course, on the net you can be as tough as you want to be. You can even pose as a professional musician.

You were the one who started this crap, Captain Poser. Anyone who reads our exchanges can see that. You attacked me, my experience, my band, even sinking so low as to attack my wife.

As for your opinion of me, I couldn't care less what you think. I do think that it's instructive to others, however, how one with so much to say about everyone else's music, equipment, experience, etc. has absolutely nothing to back it up.

You are a complete fraud.

It is fun watching your head explode though.

Gentlemen and (Capt) LMAO! this thread has been very entertaining! My opinion for what its worth! If you guy's met one another on the street I think you would have more in common than either of you would admit!

I feel like I know you both. Capt tells it like it is (until provoked) and then the gloves are off LMFAO! I have met few who can make a person feel higher or lesser than they are. Capt won't blow smoke up your ass! believe it or not there is an endearing quality there!

90db I have listened to your tracks and I think you rock! Your music would make you some Moola ($) down in in h-town.

I think both youz guyz are awesome. But By ALL MEANS CONTIUE I CAN"T REMEMBER seeing a better match of wits since me and STRING DANCER went at it.

I might be new to this forum but it looks a lot like another one I frequent. I thought this would be a thread about Manhattan, not some troll's lame attempt at playing the dozens. your insults SUCK dood.

Anyway, OP, I found a used guitar shop once around that area and could never find it again. They had vintage Marshalls, lots of obscure amps, guess that's the bane of NYC. You might fall in love with someone/place for a day and never see them/it again.

lol Glad to see you attacking other people, .90!

That just lets me know exactly what a bitter old codger you really are.

PS: I don't know, but I think he was talking to me..

He can insult you though, .90, I don't mind at all..lol

Vanity- do you remember anything about the shop? name? even a little bit where this thing might lay? I love NYC, but it is a crap shoot sometimes trying to get to where you already have been, unless you write down the address/phone number.

More bile from Captain Poser. Tell me, Captain Fraud, when's your next gig? Do you plan to use your "Kustom 200W PA and 2 columns"?

Maybe Pirate Pete here can be in your imaginary band. He's already an accomplished poser, as young as he is. Should fit right in.

Dear .9 decibel dickhead,

I use that pa EACH AND EVERY time we play..and I like it.
I told you I use it for vocals only and it does very well.
I even get a lot of questions about CCR and the way they used them, etc.
It's gitchy! You know, not like you and your sister.

If you don't like it, that's fine.
If you do, that's fine.
In short no matter what your tiny brain thinks, that's fine because I don't care what you think.

You talk like a little bitch and you complain because you think you might get your ass handed to ya?

On the outside, might makes right and unless you live with a cop you need to realize not everyone is going to want to put up with your mouth.

You can talk all the sh*t you want, but do not complain when you get the sh*t beat out of you by someone that can reach your moth ball smelling ass.

It goes without saying that if you want to vacation up here, I'll put you up in my home just so I can kick the sh*t out of you. After, I'll even take you to the hospital.

And don't complain about my verbal bile, you just can't speak well and that's why you can't contend. You need to read more and build a vernacular instead of being drunk and beating your sister or wife.

You give hill billies a bad name, Mr Holiday Inn. Go sober up and go find someone else to pester. Maybe I can come on down to your next gig, you'd really sh*t your pants in a hurry..

Otherwise if all you want to do is complain, I have some music I am going to release HERE shortly. You can complain all you want about that once I upload it to this site.

That's all you have? More threats of physical violence?

You are going to 'beat the s*it' out of me. Then you're going to 'kick the s*it' out of me. You're going to put me in the hospital.

Why? Because I exposed you as a total poser fraud to all your little cyberfriends?

As for me building a 'vernacular', I would suggest that you build a vocabulary, Professor Poser. There is a difference, you know.

By the way, the forum rules prohibit physical threats.

“...or which might be offensive, illegal, or that might violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of Members.”

“....physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;”

Seems pretty clear to me. Of course, I don't possess your 'vernacular'.

If I wanted to ride on down there, I'd be there already.

Stop your clucking and go back to f**king your sister.
That's all the relief you are going to get this day.

You remind me of the guy I back handed with a beer mug.

He shut his yap after as well. Back to sleep, lil guy and loosen your gay ass plantation hat it's cutting off the blood flow to what you call a brain.

PS: I just got 4 JJ 6l6gc, 4 Electro harmonix 12ax7's and 2 Jan 12at7's for 15$ on Canal street.

Yeah, I put them in my make believe Fender Twin Reverb with 10" speakers that I have been working on for the last imaginary 6 months and voila, we have lift off.

In short, F*ck you and the horse you rode to town, Col. Sanders.

"Gimme some chicken, bitch"..lol
